Gotta respect the hustle of these 'scalpers'. And its this rarity and risk of missing out and having to pay resell which makes this exciting. If I could walk into any supermarket and pick up this edition, it'd feel less special when in hand. You win some you lose some.

I was referring to yesterday the TLS thread , a member went about something the wrong way admitedly . Then had to stand his ground after being I belive the prase is called out ? .

A mheme yesterday was uncalled for and was later delited .saying PUT HIM DOWN ! .THAT is what rattled my cage Wreck . One member dose it to sort out his young family he is a VILLIAN . GB Host dose it HERO . Double standards amongst people here as they Want Need thire GB copys sad however FACT .

I Don't beat about the bush at all Sir I say it how I see it Wrong OR Right .

Meme that is sadly a game for those younger than me that understands humour far beyond my comprehension .

Steptoe and Son , Farther Ted Mrs Brown I get everything else comedy is Over my head flower way over :) .

Like I said WE ALL have a choice :) .
thought this matter had been put to bed and to not keep going on about in this thread !

This matter is done with now.

If you wish to carry any of this on at all then create a PM between yourselves!

Likewise any further comments about how Nova should be selling all their copies on the site and no GBs etc etc etc put them into the Nova thread and not in this Star Wars thread

They tend to do public group buys here for every release.

I have to pull you up on this point mate. Film Arena never have, nor ever will host Group Buys here, nor elsewhere.
Karel and Martin are emphaticlly not Film Arena; there is just a long-standing agreement.

As regards Aniv. If a GB host has been caught scalping, he should, morally, and in all honesty be banned from hosting GBs, period. No ifs, ands or buts!

I will also mention that Aniv has made a point of saying in his GBs that costs will include "shippng from Korea to me" , often with "by EMS" added, yet provides no evidence of actual costs to him, and goes on to say "plus any import fees" (given that he formerly identified himself in Gbs as an HK resident, I must tell you that there are ZERO import fees in Hong Kong!

Given that Gb hosts garner a discount for bulk with the suppliers, there is, with possible overcharging of fees, postage etc, overall, the likelyhood of profiting to the tune of $2500 to $3000 dollars on a sizeable GB. Nice tax-free work if you can get it . . . . .

@InAFalsetto How long has hosting a GB been a business?!!! :(
Also, NovaMedia certainly do NOT condone, or collaborate with Aniv on his scalping!

And finally, do you think you are in any position to be pontificating on the finer points of scalping?!

Listen I dont have to justify anything. If you think there is $2500 or $3500 to be made you should consider doing it yourself. Also I am not a HK resident nor have I ever charged any import fees. People who join my GB get the cost breakdown. You Sir are not one of them.

Ban me from doing what? Hosting GB? Would it be a loss to me? Let me put it this way; I just have to sell 3 1 clicks to make the amount of money after taxes I would make on a GB with 300-400 copies. Are you so dense to realize that there is no other postage option available when you ship more than 2KG from Korea to US and EMS is the only option?

Maybe I should charge you for educating you for free since you have not joined a single GB I hosted till date yet you have the audacity to tell me what I should or should not do. I have an ebay account since 2005 and my collective sales and purchases since the last 11 years has been 235. That is an average of 20 transactions per year.

I also file my taxes on the so called profit I make ;) Paypal automatically reports any accounts with over 25k in transactions per year to the revenue services. So next time you decide to attack me do your research. If any of the members who have actually joined my GB's that I am shipping directly want a refund because they dont like my policies they can contact me. Unless you are one of them you have no say on this matter. Enjoy your weekend or whats left of it.

I HATE it when they take an image, split it in two and then put half the image on the front of a slipbox/slipcover AND the other half on the back of the slip. Like full slip B of this movie. On a steelbook it's ok because you can open the steel and look at the complete image with the two halves side by side.
I'm sure there are some OCD collectors who buy two copies so they can place both slips side by side and see the entire image as one.
MANUFACTURERS, STOP DOING THIS!

That was one of my concerns too. Its going in two protective sleeps side by side in my display case with the star wars figures when it arrives.

I'm the same, I imagine the slip B will look fantastic and most likely have a lovely finish but the fact you can't open it up to see the full image bugs me. But I think it's better than slip A
