Certainly doesn't sound like it's worth the £30 people want off Ebay for it!!!

I can't believe the mark up these guys want; you got it for £18, surely a £5 profit would be reasonable - this world is so full of greed
Prices will drop rapidly it even came back into stock @ Zavvi yesterday give it a few weeks the market will be flooded with cheap copies its only just worth £10!

cheers to the ninja's who posted pics! no more anticipation now for the next 3-4 weeks waiting for the zavvi snail mail to arrive with this :hilarious: meh it gets here when it gets here :hilarious: its still ok but damn what could have been...

Does anyone know if the non-US theatrical versions of the film has always had O'Neill's "he's full of ****" line? I noticed it's in both versions on the blu-ray. The US theatrical version had "it's your call" instead.

I can see what Basil was on about now that i have mine at last.

I find it surprisingly pleasant in hand - the reflective sheen on the glow parts is quite nice. I'm also a sucker for Remastered films on bluray. I wlda been MORE than happy paying £10 4 this... hell maybe even the normal £15.

Such a shame zavvi had to go with that "ultra limited" nonsense instead :movie:

Does anyone know if there is a clearing day for this? Like when cancelled orders go back into stock?

It was yesterday. Went live again about 3:30pm GMT yesterday.
I suppose there is always the odd copy that may become available again if there were any problem payments during yesterdays sales... but I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Sort of, you need to reach 30 posts in order to enter it without making spammy posts. Welcome to HDN. :D

Cheers, looks like I'll have to start contributing a bit more, rather than just reading

Anyway back on subject, what's the opinion on this version against the Canadian one?

I'll chime in, as I have the Canadian (and the Best Buy).

I don't have the UK version in hand, but I think I already prefer the finish, the back art and the colors on the North American one. What the UK edition has on it is inside art... both NA releases are bare inside.

If you're in the market for a NA one, go for the bby edition if you can score it. The steel itself is the same, but the Canadian release still contains the older, faulty encode which had playback problems when seamless branching was implemented.
