The artwork looks decent, but it could do with having some more colour to it imo... if it ends up being matte, then all that blue will look very dull.

I'm sick of the borders on steels, we need to try and get away from that, its getting ridiculous now, I agree with Ricster, we need more debossed steels as they look so much better imo, look at The Thing from France, quality steel right there

This would look amazing, if this was a super high gloss finish and just the title stargate was debossed. No frame, just the title, debossed.

Anyone agree? If so, anyway HDN can advise zavvi cause this would be a killer steel with those two options.

IMO, just saying

While I disagree with you guys in general about the boarders on steels, I do think that this particular artwork would look spectacular with just the title debossed!

Their previous release said stargate the movie, just they've shortened it to tm for this

The little "tm" typically stands for trademark (why its included is anyone's guess). Also I've never heard of it referred to as Stargate The Movie either, unless that's an overseas thing.

Huh, look at that. Guess I've never seen that version or maybe just didn't pay enough attention to the last time I saw a BD of the movie, since no store around here has carried it for awhile now. I'm assuming it is to separate it from the TV series for all the numbnuts out there who confuse them somehow.

I think it might be to separate it. Even though IMHO this is still the best of the entire bunch. It's the original so it should just be called STARGATE. The TM kinda ruins it a bit for me. Going to preorder just incase the final artwork has that removed. Just need to find out when it's going live

I love this movie but 17.99 is just too much. Apart from that the art on CA steel looks much better. I'm kind of disapointed with this release - they did much better work with previous two 'ultra super mega amazing astounding spectacular limited run'.
