I figured that since the MF's hyperdrive wasn't working, it took forever to get anywhere. What bothers me most, if I let it, is the Hoth battle and how the snowspeeders kept attaking the AT-AT's from the front. Not to mention that once Luke found out that the Snowspeeders blasters couldn't penetrate the AT-AT's armor, why the hell he didn't tell everyone to go back and get their X-Wings. And, seriously, it took Vader 3 years to track down Luke? Why not use Bounty Hunters from the start? Or, hell, just get on the holonet and let the Rebels know that he's Lukes father, and wait for the Rebels to turn on Luke? Luke, rather than slowing down his X-Wing, proceeds to go full speed into the planet despite his sensors being down. Why not slow down? LOL! Hoth, a desolate place with not enough life to fill a space cruiser, yet I'm going to leave you out here alone, Luke, so good luck! Some "old buddy." Vader kills Luke's friends and fellow Rebels, tortures his sister and new best friend, and finally mutilates his own son by cutting his hand off, yet Luke still senses good in him and fans are ok with that. Anakin slaughters a Tusken village, kills younglings, and chokes his wife but have a hissy fit on how Padme could still love or sense good in him. This is if I put the typical PT hater cap on and apply it to the OT.

Hayden as Anakin is on par with Mark as Luke, IMO. As for Jar Jar, I don't have any issue with the character, but I think he would have been better received if TCW had come out first before the live action stuff, as there are alot of episodes with him in it that are just awesome. 2, in fact, in Season 6 where he teams up with Mace of all people. Still, JJB, IMO, represents us. Star Wars fans and geeks in general. I'm sure at one time any one of us has had to deal with bullying, not fitting in, annoying people, etc. Any one here been looked down on for being a geek or a nerd? For likeing Star Wars a little too much or Science Fiction in general? Being too skinny, too fat, having pimples, etc. It's ironic how the one character that geeks and nerds should identify with instead use him as a punching bag.

I've never been the Boba lover like alot of SW geeks, but I get it. For me, it has always been Vader. He made the OT.

I'd love to see a live action Clone Wars movie with him and Hayden back. I would also love to see Luke talking to his dad in one of the new movies via the Force. Sadly, I don't think it will happen.

A live action Clone Wars movie would be awesome. I'd love to see Ventress in it and it could show off how Anakin got his scar.

Yup, I did see Landing at Point Rain. That was a fun ep. I remember Ki Adi Mundi ended up with the most droid kills in the end. I gotta go on Netflix and double check to see where I left off.

I haven't watched it for awhile again LOL! I think I'm on the Weapons Factory ep.

I contacted them again today after not hearing anything yesterday and it looked like nothing was going to happen today either. But they finally responded and said they've had a lot of problems with the site lately. And my order finally shipped out late this afternoon. And it might get here tomorrow because they are located in my state .

I'm hoping if enough people complain they'll at least give PT DLC stuff away for free. It would be the right thing to do.



I really liked McGregor's performance a ton. I'm hoping he comes back for an Obi-Wan spinoff movie.



Not gonna lie, DM not being available to play as in Battlefront is by far my most disappointing thing of all the stuff they've chosen to leave out.

I was definitely going to make the Maul and Boba comparison too. There are tons of SW characters that could fit that mold of being extremely popular while having only tiny role. With SW its so much the look of the characters that makes them so iconic.

I guess I never looked at Luke as being on Dagobah all that long. I mean he didn't even have to shave once lol.

Ha, maybe he just used his light saber to shave! Closest shave in the galaxy!

I sure as heck hope they do an Ewan McGregor stand alone Obi-Wan movie! That would be epic.

The only thing that really makes me cringe in the PT is the love story between Padme and Anakin. It's just so cheesy and uncomfortable! Otherwise I love Attack of the Clones and that movie didn't seem to be well received. I had been waiting years to see more Jedi action and we got an entire battle scene with hundreds of them!

Frikkin' Geonosians were burned alive and as they were laying on the ground screaming while being burned alive, they were sliced by Ki Adi's saber, and shot in the head by Clones! F'n brutal! There's another episode later in TCW where a droid rips a Clones head right off! I never noticed it until I got the bigger TV since it is in the background of the scene. Just awesome!

My mistake, LOL! I thought it was weird that BBTS was doing that. Never dealt with Brian's Toys, and I won't after what you just went through. I'd have to be really desperate. Like the LSB Maul or something.

Yeah, it was a little cheesy, but I just took it as them both being a little inexperienced in love. You guys would probably laugh your asses off if you heard some of the things I told my wife when we first started dating. Hell, I still do it now, LOL! AOTC is my youngests favorite SW movie, and when we watched it once, I told her about how some feel about the love confession at Geonosis. She said, "How? Look how sincere they are." Perspective from a 14 year old girl. I will say that the chemistry between Han and Leia was better for me, but, IMO, it is thanks to how great of an actor Ford is.

The entire OT made the OT for me LOL. I love absolutely everything about it, and all the characters. But if I'd have to pick one character it would be Vader.

Han and Leia's chemistry worked better for me too.

Everything ended up working out okay with Brian's Toys today. Got my Anakin EX PF in and I'm extremely happy with it. Although I thought the saber wasn't working, then I luckily checked the battery compartment and there was a piece of plastic that I had to remove from one of the contacts. They do carry a ton of SW stuff, I'd say close to 75% of their stuff is SW, and a ton of that is vintage. Its a pretty awesome site, but their sales system is a freaking nightmare.

Thanks guys. Yup, going with the Sith eyes and the robe on and hood up. Out of all the SW PFs I want the EX on Anakin was a must have. This is definitely one of SS's best SW pieces as far as humans go. Its definitely got the best Hayden likeness of anything released so far.

I'll definitely get to season 4 and 5. I just watched the ep last night with the zombie Geonosians and the Queen that was obviously heavily influenced from Aliens lol. It was highly entertaining though.

That way I can still keep myself entertained with complaining about SS's prices and QC without having to make the jump to $1K+ per statue, and getting an ulcer worrying about trying to get one of these before they sell out and go for $4K on eBay lol.

HAHA! Yeah, you'll see influences from alot of films in TCW. They've used Aliens references a few times up to that episode.

Agreed about the likeness. The Vader Mythos comes close, but the PF is still the best! Post pics up when you can. I tried to get the robe on mine looking good, but got frustrated and just took it off.

The robe is a ***** to get looking good. I'm not a fan of how they added wires to the robe itself but didn't run one through the hood. I honestly wish they would have done the complete opposite because I would have liked to have had the robe just doing a natural draping kind of look but its damn near impossible to do that with all those wires in there.

Edit: I just snapped a quick pick. I know I've only got 3 SW PFs so far, but I'm thinking Anakin could be my favorite one. I'll still be futzing with the robe I'm sure as its still not looking how I want it to.

Its really anyone's guess what the XM SW stuff will sell for. But since XM has been committed to making less than 1000 pieces for every statue they make I think these things will continue to sell out within minutes. And any that manage to do that will at least double in price once they hit the 'Bay.

Awesome pic! The Anakin PF is easily one of the best SW PF's made! Incredible likeness, and the tailoring is well done! I fuzzed with the tunic and under shirt alot to get it to look natural. For me, with the robe on, it was difficult as hell to get everything to line up right. Agreed about the hood. I would suggest having the hood off and put something in it that will hold the hood down like marbles. Give it a few weeks and then try placing the hood over the head again.

For me, with the robe on, it was difficult as hell to get everything to line up right. Agreed about the hood. I would suggest having the hood off and put something in it that will hold the hood down like marbles. Give it a few weeks and then try placing the hood over the head again.

Thanks bud! Gotta agree about the tailoring. Anakin's outfit was my favorite of all the Jedi's and SS nailed it. Thanks for the tip about the hood, I'll try that. I think the cloak will be staying on mine, unless SS ever makes a matching Ewan Obi-Wan. But I don't see that happening anytime in the future.

I think the Mythos Obi-Wan is the closest we'll get for a high-end Ewan product sadly. I'd love if XM, HT, or SS (yeah right) made a 1/4 TCW versions of Anakin and Obi-Wan. No worries! And, if you screw up your hood somehow, LMK, I'll give you mine.

I got a feeling that Savage will be the last 1/4 scale piece that will come from TCW, other than Cody which still isn't shipping LMAO!. I have a feeling they will probably move on to Rebels now. Maybe they'll finally do an Ahsoka PF now that she's not like 12 anymore LOL. I'm pretty sure my hood will be alright. The more I look at it the more I like how its looking now.

I seriously think people are spending all this ridiculous money on this XM stuff off eBay just for bragging rights. They do look pretty awesome, but they don't look like they should cost 4 times the price of a PF. And since PFs are mixed media I'll still prefer them over XMs stuff anyways.

Yup, saw that little Maul preview. I think Tom Gilliland from SS said he really likes Maul so I think there is a good chance there could always some kind of a new Maul around the corner. I doubt I'll be getting it though since I've finally committed to collecting PFs from SW. To me they just blow sixth scale stuff out of the water.

Did you hear about Independence Day 2 coming out next summer? They got the whole cast back except for Will Smith, WTF?

I agree, I've noticed a lot of collectors will buy stuff if it's limited even if they have no interest in the character. Must be nice to have that kind of money, ha.

Plus (with the exception of Wolverine and Magneto which are dang impressive) the XM pieces haven't really been better than Sideshow. Their Hulk is way worse for example. It does seem that there have been virtually no quality control issues with XM though.

I've never cared for numbers, and I certainly have a limit of what I'm willing to spend on a collectible. I guess it will depend on the piece.

Ahsoka was 14 at the start of TCW and 16 by the end. So, she's in her early 30's for Rebels. I'd rather have a TCW 1/4 statue of her, but if it ends up being from Rebels, I sure as hell won't complain. I don't know man. With multiple companies now making 1/4 product, maybe they'll all branch out a little. Only so many Boba's, Vaders, Maul's, etc. they can make.

I don't like the XM Hulk at all. Or She Hulk for that matter. Sideshows versions are far better IMO. The XM Magneto is all kinds of awesome though. I hope they are that creative when it comes to SW.
