Yup, Captain Phasma. I think she is probably going to kick a lot of dudes asses in this movie.

I did see it and I think it looks slightly better than the first trailer. Was Bats also wearing the Red Son outfit in the trailer? Thats way too bizarre of an outfit for my taste lol.

Yeah she kicks a lot of dude's asses in Game of Thrones as well. She's pretty badass.

I have no clue what Batman was wearing in that trailer. It looked like goggles and pants...like he had just been driving a tank or something.

She's definitely freaking huge dude. Driver's responses were hilarious. That dude really isn't allowed to say a damn thing lol. Ridley definitely has a Kiera Knightly thing going on. I think we'll be seeing more of her in upcoming movies for sure. And not just SW ones. And I knew you you'd like that Starkiller Base name :D.

I'll probably just go for the reg. But it could come down to which version I can find when I have the money. Really Anakin was the only one that I absolutely needed the EX for, thats probably why I got him before so many other characters. The next main focus for me is going to be the droids but since they are going for a grand+ it'll be awhile before I get 'em. I hope SS decides to make another round of them since they left them as a "limited edition" instead of setting an ES. I also have a Stormie on flex that I'll get in early September. I kinda hope they eventually make a battle droid or a destroyer droid PF.

I'm excited to finally see WW in a movie. And with the Robin suit on display in the Batcave in the movie with the spray paint all over it that was probably put there by the Joker, I'm pretty sure that means that Jason Todd's death with be canon in the current DCCU. And from the casting I've seen I think we'll be seeing the Carrie Kelly version of Robin from Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns. Not a fan of that version of Robin at all though.

Carrie Kelly Robin is disappointing. I personally didn't care much for the Dark Knight Returns. I was hoping we would get Nightwing in the movies instead of Robin.

By the way, Anovos finally released an x-wing costume which I had been waiting for, but at that price and it doesn't even include a helmet...no friggen' way! One day I will have a Star Wars costume.

It definitely looked like goggles, pants and a jacket. I was like WTF is that lol. I would really like to see Nightwing in a movie too. But I really doubt I'm going to like the DCCU until its rebooted again many years from now and goes in a different direction. This Snyder thing just ain't doing it for me. Luckily Lou likes it though, so at least somebody's happy.

Man thats pricey with no helmet. Knowing how much you like Luke and Wedge this would've been a perfect outfit for you. I saw their Boba helmet from the SDCC pics and I really like it a lot. A really nice high end Vader or Boba helmet is definitely up their on my want list, and since these are from Anovos they are made to be worn so they come with padding and stuff so they are comfortable.

I have no idea what you just said in the last couple sentences, LMAO! I guess I need to read up on that before the movie. I figured that the writing on the Robin suit was Joker's which I thought was awesome! I guess that's the good thing about not knowing too much history on the characters they are drawing from in the comics.

The droids are a must, IMO. The downside is they are in no way worth retail. They look awesome on display, but not $700 awesome, LOL!

Yeah, that Starkiller base reference just made my day!

Same! And not just a Jedi/ Sith robe, but a full on costume. I like what this company is doing though, and it seems like alot of my friends are excited about them.

Bad thing is you probably can't even get the droids at retail price. I put mine on ebay and they sold for $1,000!

Yeah Anovos is making some great costumes, but I don't get some of the pricing. I didn't think the x-wing uniform (with no helmet) would cost as much as the stormtrooper uniform. Luke's Bespin fatigues are like $500, that's a steep price for a jumpsuit! My grandpa used to walk around in jumpsuits all the time, I hope he didn't pay that much for his, ha ha.

LMAO! I'll just give you a really short version. There have been quite a few versions of Robin in the comics. The first one was Dick Grayson who eventually quit as Robin and went out to do his own thing and became Nightwing. The second Robin was Jason Todd who was eventually beaten to near death by the Joker with a crowbar and then was left in a warehouse with a bomb that blew up and killed him. But then it was revealed in later comics that he didn't actually die, but I think they are going to leave him being dead for this movie. And the alive version of Robin in this movie is going to probably be Carrie Kelley who is a girl and basically was just created for Frank Miller's 4 part comic The Dark Knight Returns which this movie is heavily influenced by. There are more Robins too but I don't think they will be brought up at all in this current DC Cinematic Universe.

Yeah, I've seen the droids currently selling between $1000-$1200. I'm not too happy about that. I'm sure you are Terp as you made some money off of those :D. I don't think its going to be possible for me to have a SW collection without them so I'm either going to have to save for 'em or hope since they were left as an open ES that SS will make another batch of them.

I just read a post from someone over at SSF that placed an order with Anovos 8 months ago and still hasn't gotten his stuff. I don't really know too much about this company but does that seem about the normal amount of time for a costume?

LMAO! No doubt! Same with my dad, and he's the cheapest person I know! LOL! I don't think I could resist on a First Order Trooper though.

Not good for a company just starting out!

I know Dick Grayson Robin from Batman the Animated Series, but not the others. Interesting though. I'll have to do some reading.
You see the new Suicide Squad trailer?

I may turn you into a Batman fan after all! LMAO!

I thought the Suicide Squad trailer looked pretty damn good. I'm definitely excited to see this one.

There are some Lego set images that have leaked from TFA. They reveal some new character names. http://www.rebelscum.com/story/fron...ns_Sets_Reveal_New_Character_Names_164943.asp The new Han and Chewie minifigs look so freaking cool!

What? No Jar Jar? LMAO!

Yeah, loved the trailer! They seemed really focused on HQ though.

I've always been a casual fan. God forbid I get hardcore into that too! ;)

LOL!

I think since this will be the first live action version of HQ in a movie they are going to really focus on her character because the fans have wanted to see her done this way for a really long time. She was actually done in live action on the TV show Birds of Prey back in the early 2000's and was played by Ferris Bueller's Mia Sara. And I think they are going to limit how much of the Joker they show in the trailers just to keep whatever he's doing a surprise.

I'd say I'm still more of a SW fan than a Batman fan. Batman has been around for almost 40 years more than SW so there is obviously more stuff out there to choose from, but I'm really picky on exactly how I like the character portrayed in both the movies and comics. SW is pretty much always awesome for me no matter how its done.

Yeah Harley Quinn is pretty popular these days. I received an e-mail from BBTS about new DC products and over half of them were HQ statues. Kind of funny to me because HQ represents everything that women should be against...I mean she is obsessed with an abusive psychopath. If you're looking for a strong woman portrayal, she is definitely not it. Although I've heard she has recently broken away from the Joker in comics.

Dick Grayson is my favorite Batman universe character. At least in the comics I've read he seems more grounded than Bruce and can usually get him back to reality when he gets too Batman-y, ha.

Did you guys see the article about the new Star Wars book Aftermath? It apparently takes place right after Return of the Jedi and involves Wedge hunting down pockets of Imperial forces. I was thinking to myself, I think I read this book 20 years ago when it was called Truce at Bakura. I really hate that they wiped out all of the old books so they can rewrite everything, ugh.

I seriously can't figure out exactly how HQ has gotten so popular. I mean I don't think the character is bad or anything, but as far as Batman characters go I think Catwoman has a lot more to her character than Harley. But for whatever reason the collecting community is as obsessed with her as she is with the Joker.

I'm definitely a Nightwing fan so I can see why Dick Grayson is your favorite. I have a few Nightwing issues from the 90's. Someday I'll go through all my comics just to see what I've got that I've forgotten about.

I've heard about Aftermath but all I know is its supposed to take place right after ROTJ. I think they went a bit too far with un-canonizing all of the old books. There are still a lot of them that the new trilogy shouldn't have any effect on at all. I think once they decided that Chewie was going to be alive for this new movie they just decided to get rid of everything that wasn't a movie or TV show.

I love what I saw of Joker. I had to go watch Wolf of Wall Street to get a feel of the actress who is playin HQ. Of course, as I was watching it, I got more than I expected. In other words, she gets nekkid! LOL! Looks like great casting so far.

TBH, I never read much that took place beyond ROTJ. But, I get what you're saying. Wiping out TFU and TFU2 stories was sad. Such a better start to the Rebellion than Rebels is IMO.

I can't wait to see the first Suicide Squad movie version of HQ in 1/4 scale!

Yeah, too much I guess to try and work around for new movies.

BTW, finally made you a video of the lights and music. Not the greatest quality, but you get the idea. Be sure to set it to HD. :)

Oh man that really is freaking awesome! Hopefully you have woken up the neighbors and induced some seizures in them by now LMAO!

I freaking loved Wolf of Wall Street. Man, there are boobies all over in that movie LOL!

Pretty much all of the EU stuff I read was either right before the PT or set during the OT. Shadows of the Empire is still one of my favorite books ever, even though it totally rips off Han Solo with the character Dash Rendar. I never went super far back in time to the Old Republic, and I don't think I ever went past ROTJ either. I never even read the super popular Thrawn trilogy but it is on my things to read list. I'll get to it eventually. I still find plenty of enjoyment in the books that aren't canon anymore because some of the stories are really good. I'm not one of the fans who will swear off reading a great SW book just because it isn't canon.

I'm not even sure what comics I've read, but it wasn't anything that interested me. Things like KOTOR and TFU though I thought had awesome stories. I'm just not a reader, LOL! Still haven't read that Rebels book. Ok, not totally true, I have read all the Visual Dictionaries and the Ultimate Visual Guide. That's about it.

It's alot brighter in person. One neihbor said it looked like a rave was going on! :D

I have to admit, I only watched the movie because Marggot was in it, but it was actually not bad.

The visual dictionaries are pretty cool. But you can tell when they are stretching to come up with something when they have a close up photo of the prop and they list something as a power indicator or recharge port or something and its just a screw holding the thing together lol.

I only watched it because of Marggot too. I watched it right when it was announced she was cast as Harley and I hadn't seen her in anything yet and then I remembered she was in Wolf of Wall Street so I went and found it on netflix and saw it was a Scorsese movie so I figured it had a decent shot of being a pretty good movie. I thought it was highly entertaining as she was great, and looks great naked LOL!

She's got quite the body on her, no doubt! LOL!

I'm such a nerd, LMAO! I always found that stuff interesting. Like how the covertechs on for the PT sabers were to "charge" them. I'm sure all that crap has been thrown out now.

Who knows how far they will un-canonize everything. Stuff like this shouldn't need to be touched but if they can think of new uses for all of those buttons and things, I'm sure they will put them in a new book and sell them. Oh well, at least we are getting more SW movies.

I just saw these on SSF (early works in progress):
