I was hoping for something more too. But since they included Saw Gerrera in this movie, hopefully that means we will see other characters in this from the shows. I'm still really hoping they are still including Cad Bane in this. I haven't heard anything about that in a long time. I'd also love to see them put Ahsoka in a real movie too, or at least mention her. Ideally I'd love to see her get her own movie eventually, and they should let Filoni direct it.

The reel they played yesterday does look like it confirms Jimmy Smits is back as Bail Organa:

I know a lot of people that really like Thrawn and were pissed when it was announced he wasn't canon anymore. I even saw people online actually saying they wouldn't even see any of the new movies because of that. I haven't seen anyone making comments like that since the VII came out, so I assume they all moved on from their little pouting episodes lol. But its really cool to see they are putting him back in for the fans that really liked him.

Don't feel bad, I only watched the Rebels episodes with Vader in them LOL. It looks like Aladdin is a little older in the third season, maybe if they keep aging him as the show goes on, that could make the show fully watchable in another 2 seasons LOL!

Agreed! Although, IIRC, wasn't he trying to do the same thing that Krennic's character is doing? You know, take Vader's place.

Hmm, I don't know. I mean, it kinda looks like it could be him, but something tells me it isn't. That said, I'd love to see him back. If Bail is in it, he should be played by Smits!

An Ahsoka movie is a must. It doesn't even need to be live action. And, yes, Filoni needs to direct. That arc that he mentioned on the panel would be awesome to see!

They gotta make it someway, somehow. I don't really care how they make it, I just need to see. it. I'd even take it in comic book forum if they refuse to do it in any other way. Although I wouldn't be that excited for it if they go that route.

Thats good for a portion or maybe even the majority of the Rebels/TCW viewers, but I was really hoping for something that would take the character into a little more adult focused book. I agree though, considering everything this character has been through and matured, something more adult oriented is in order. If they want to cater to the younglings, go back to before she was Anakin's Padawan.

Exactly! Thats my big problem with them only keeping her in the cartoons. Its great they let her grow up in Rebels, but so many SW fans don't or won't watch the cartoons. I think if they presented the character in the movies that all SW fans see, and show how likeable she is, then that might bring more fans into the show that weren't willing to give it a chance before.

Yeah, you're probably right there. That makes total sense. If I were you I'd hold off on selling off any of your EU PFs because now you never know when they might decide to bring those characters back into the canon. I have a feeling it won't be long until Darth Talon shows up again.

I really hope they bring Starkiller back too. There is actually a pole right now on the star wars website (http://www.starwars.com/news/vote-now-for-the-next-black-series-figure) for which character should be the next 6" black series figure and Starkiller and Talon are in first and second place. There is definitely still interest and demand for these characters, so I know LFL is seeing this and I think its only going to be a matter of time before we see them back in canon.
