Steelbook Hall of Shame

As much as we love movies...we also love a steelbook with a great design...inner artwork, embossed/debossed covers, intricate designs...BUT once in awhile studios get lazy and give us sub-par design, unimaginative steelbooks. Some might like it but majority of us just don't get it! so this is a place to "celebrate" these bad releases!

Any nominees...?

looks like Spiderman 1, 2 and 3 from Future Shop will be a great contender and Casino (Play.com) with red faced cover.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates those Japanese white steels...they look like a bad photoshop job

I don't hate but I agree that it an over hyped Steelbook despite being matte finished.

I dislike it when Steelbook releases are just like the blu ray release, but in steel. Show some creativity! The truly great ones have all new artwork. BTW, I bought the new Spiderman from FS, and, yes, it is freakin' bad. I think the devil made me do it...

I second that. They all look bland and cheap and so unattractive.

The FS Spider-man 1-3 all look awful but everyone knows that.

Do not forget the "F1 car" La Era de Hielo 4 exagerated sturated with logos and text, design is cool but FOX MX made it one of the worst ever.

This with bells on. Although bells might have improved it slightly.

The upcoming Predator 2 is a bit awful in my opinion. Although the front seems to be getting most of the negative feedback, its actually the back that looks worse. He looks like trollface.

Okay, you are right... there are some good looking like the iron man steelbook. But by the mos of the steelbooks the blue bar destroys the complete cover..
