Steelbook Hall of Shame

As much as we love movies...we also love a steelbook with a great design...inner artwork, embossed/debossed covers, intricate designs...BUT once in awhile studios get lazy and give us sub-par design, unimaginative steelbooks. Some might like it but majority of us just don't get it! so this is a place to "celebrate" these bad releases!

Any nominees...?

looks like Spiderman 1, 2 and 3 from Future Shop will be a great contender and Casino (Play.com) with red faced cover.

Agreed. Every trip to FS I giggle to myself at all the stock sitting on the shelf being all ugly and unwanted

nominee 1 its PREDATORS 2 uk steel....looks like a christmas tree....nice picture but too colourful for such a movie...
nominee 2 shaun of the dead again of uk...sideways and too plain, i guess red doesnt suit my eye.
but the award goes to WARNER STUDIOS...the completely made my day for a future ugly steel of the BB and TDK copies of JP

Haha, I feel for you man...moving that stock is going to require some serious beer goggles. Having said that, if they go any lower I may just pick some up to use as slims for converting fatties

The Avengers should receive the prize, not because is ugly, but is the epitome of lack of creativity and laziness to all the Avengers Steelbooks having the same A, oh the size/shape of it changes somewhat but, really?

Please keep the stones, it is only my personal opinion

End of Watch UK - nice artwork but it's the same as the standard amaray, so why bother?

Also the whole Warner silver range from the UK (Heat etc) that came out before Christmas
