Taking into account a lot of your recommendations, (ie. additions) and choosing my best top picks that I chose privately all through out the year (mainly because I made sure there was at least 1 entry from each of the 12 months) I've created the following poll with the options.

You may choose up to 5.

Poll closes in a few weeks.

This is for the STEELBOOK case only.

We will get a poll going for 1click boxsets, and slipboxes soon.

Releases had to get in consumers hands in 2019.
HONORABLE MENTION TO THE RUNNING MAN FROM GERMANY, but it technically released in December 2018 and skated the line of in the hands of many (in Germany) in 2018 while some international folks in early Jan.

Click on the spoiler tag below to see actual photos of the nominees (thanks to the members who shared them in their respective release threads).

Inglourious Basterds Manta is beautiful, neat, super glossy steel with debossed title and great art. But If someone prefer cheap Weet steels with thin layer of gloss, highly visible metal and oversaturated colors, so be it, to each his own :coffee:....in the end, its mostly about the artwork anyway I think.....Otherwise I would vote for FA Alien too, but I simpy find this artwork very dull, so despite pretty nice finish, I didn´t vote for this one....

Mantas IB steel (and full slip) is one of the best packages from last year. Very happy to see it doing well in the vote

You took this out of context.
I only meant that the pictures would be extremely useful on voting for those of us that didn’t got them in hand (to really appreciate and can indeed compare them, fully), or, maybe not even saw in a picture.

I didn’t take it out of context at all. Your last point was especially for those who didn’t have the luck to get them or some of them. I just meant I wouldn’t of thought anyone would vote for something they didn’t have.
I personally know what all the premiums look like that I bought last year. Is all I meant

I’m not complaining about why have pictures. Yea they help but I can’t see anyone voting for anything they didn’t get

Agreed Manta's IB is an all round stunning release, you really didn't loose in whichever single edition you bought and if you got the OC you got a stunner of a box as well.

2019 feels like it was a quiet year for Steelbook collecting what with the licensing issues in China basically bringing a halt to Blufans for the year (bar a couple of Sony titles which surprise surprise were still just superhero films) and HDZ only really sprang into life themselves from September/October time with their Gladiator re-release and super hero offerings from them

Looking back Manta's IB is 100% the best release I got last year and pretty sure that arrived in January which says it all

I think the Alita Black Baron's steelbook by Filmarena looks the best. Surprised it's in 4th. Looks much nicer than IB. Weird.

and for clarification yes its the antman and the wasp lenti steelbook, but you can take into account it without the lenti mag. It made the list primarily because it released in a month where no other made it. (of my choosing) and I felt it beat the others that month.
