SteelBooks being Restocked at FutureShop

When i went to Futureshop looking for Public Enemies Steelbook they were completely sold out then about 2 weeks later they had 1 copy the same has happened with some of the disney steelbooks.

I am told they are completely sold out by Futureshop then one appears every now and then.

So here is my question could a copy of Ironman Steelbook show up or others of interest, like that commercial what would be the percentage of that happening.

2 Copies of Sleeping beauty appeared there last week so i bought one it hasn't been in that store for weeks or longer

Even if the percentage is extremely rare i will continue to keep a eye out.

i was told by the manager of my futureshop that they are returns,people buy them to sell and when they dont sell they return them to get their money back

Thats part of the reason futureshop limits copies,so that some dude does not buy 20 copies and try and return them when they dont sell

I was at our FS yesterday and saw a couple that I hadn't seen there since I bought em for the boys. they were all beat to rat s**t tho, haha. I dunno who is gonna pay full price for those.

yup, returns. Before the 12 weeks of disney folks were finding Indy's ... when 12 weeks of disney went on folks who went to the store for those picked up any and all remaining Indy stock for the most part ... as I was reading quite a number of people who would gloat about finding one while picking up said disney steel.

Who knows, I know of someone who stumbled upon an I Am Legend way after they originally sold out.

I saw a dented District 9 that was obviously from a return about 2 weeks ago, but thats the only one i have come across.

I Am Legends and Iron Man steelbooks are found in lots of pawn shops around where i live. I just never have the motivation to spend a day traveling around the city with the chance of not finding any and plus, most of them are dented and scratched as they most likely weren't originally purchased by collectors.

I saw an IAL in what looked to be mint condition until i turned it around and there was a nice golf ball size dent on the back. Unfortunately, i had no cash on me to buy it..i think they were selling it for $20. That was just before Christmas time at a pawn shop in Red Deer (150 km from me) so i have never gone back. Have been thinking about it though..if someone put it on a SteelBook stand on their shelf, it would look just like a mint one. Flea bay would probably still yield $100 for it, but with the price of gas i just can't justify the drive.

Maybe i will drag my girlfriend with me for a day and go hunt

Well all i can say is every 3rd week when i goto FS i see Steelbooks that wern't there before 3 times nightmare before christmas has been there twice for sleeping beauty and i just picked up public enemies and all copies have been in mint shape.

I been looking for a disney copy of snow white i am sure it will be there one of these days.

And even one day ironman lol

Sleeping Beauty has now become extinct since Disney already pulled their inventory due to the film going back to the vault so hold onto it
