The Criterion stickers for example easily come off to be transferred to the case, but these started tearing immediately.

is it risky to put the box set down horizontal? the reason I'm asking is, because the editions are heavy and I dont want the the lowermost get dented, because the edition carries the whole weight of the other 2 editions

Well the side is flat right? So no reason it would get damaged unless you laid this on a uneven surface or piled steels on stop. Why do you want to place it sideways?

I'm talking about the editions inside the box. I afraid, that the lowermost edition get dented (full slip), because of the weight. at the moment I have no place so will keep it in the package it was sent in.

There's some foam material in between each edition to give it some protection. So you should be okay lying it flat.

hmm strange there usually is foam however there wasn't any in BvS. Assuming these editions are just as thick as those.

LA Confidential has the 1/4 slip which is a lot thinner. Thats why Zeta gave 5 layers of foam. Thats still a lot of foam. I am surprised Sucker Punch didnt get any. Thought this might had been a new thing with all their boxsets.

To be honest there's no room for foam in the BvS or Sucker Punch boxset

My Mad Max Boxset has layers of foam between the editions but the Full Slip was a thin one which is maybe why too?

Yeah, looks like those with the skinny slips/1/4 slips have the foam. @TheCollector86 does that help now to decide if you want to place it sideways?
