Another one... Is it so difficult to come up with new artwork?. It looks like all they do is make a phone call with Scanavo and ask for a Sucker Punch SteelBook.
Oh yeah, we got a few thousand here: Just slap on a j-card and you're ready to sell.
But although I already have 12 different Sucker Punch releases, the collector in me still wants it :)

same artwork..little to no thought gone into it

A lot of the promo material for Sucker Punch was produced in landscape format to include all the girls, so I guess it's not that easy to come up with something new in portrait format.

That said, something like the cover for the German Premium Collection digibook would have been much better - and the art is already out there. In hand this one is really nice, with a metallised finish on Baby Doll.

These last few post's just PROVED what i was saying..If collectors can come up with something different without much trouble then why can't the powers who control these releases do the same..
like i said..LAZY EXECUTIVES WITH LARGE PAY CHECK'S WITH LITTLE INSIGHT AS TO WHAT THERE CONSUMERS ARE WANTING... WAKE UP FAT CAT'S AND TRY DOING A LITTLE WORK..
The day we all as consumers stop buying and excepting this apathy and contempt to just keep on giving us the same product over and over will BE THE DAY THEY GET OFF THERE :ass: AND ACTUALY WORK FOR A LIVING...(LIKE THE REST OF US)

Show me a sexy slip and I'll show you a day one purchase.

I'd vote against the white version as they don't seem to like to put slips on those.

The poster is by Ken Taylor, released by Mondo March '11. It's my favourite print of the few I own. The printing on it is breathtaking. Lots of metallic (almost like glitter) details. Nearly 2 years later and I still haven't got it framed yet. :emb: A SteelBook of this with a metallic finish would be gorgeous.

That's awesome poster art and would so work well with the comic con edition. Would be nice if someone would release a steel with that artwork.
Zavvi are you listening ? Lol

Seem to recall this being done already and had a red j-card, was in Rockafella's vast collection. However it might have been an amaray. Cover was also different (had mec on the left of cover same as Dutch cover).

Are you thinking of the Japanese special collector's edition? That had the mech on the left and shipped with a red slip.
