happy, happy days. yes, i know it's not the greatest film ever made, but i do enjoy it, and i now have my first ever HDZeta one click. :woot: think i got one of the last ones in the Zeta shop, only now getting around to opening it. as many others have said above, this is gorgeous. quality mailing, well-made, lovely embossing, and superb lenticulars and embossing throughout. :wow: plus my new challenge coin arrived!

i know others have posted pics before (great shots @huggy2k4!), but here are a few of mine, for anyone interested. :Snap:

safe mailing that didn't get crushed on the way (ahem, blufans):
awesome one-click box...
...with its embossing:
overall, a great full package:

haven't even got around to opening the damn things yet, just the box (i will be, though), and i'm super-impressed by this one-click. more, please! :notworthy: :)

Easily amongst the worst gloss Steelbook I have seen in terms of finish.

1. Muted colours.
2. Cheap gloss finish exposing bare metal.
3. Faded texts.

It almost feels like they forgot to apply a thick coat of green paint. Even 10.99 Play.com Steel blows this so-called WEA Premium Steelbook. The packaging and the slip are usual rock solid.

Same cheap finish as Interstellar HDZeta. Even gloss doesn't save this POS. Now this has motivated me to sell this and stick with the HMV exclusive.

As a Fantatical Harley fan for years, nothing saves this edition! HMV version in @zesty slip kills this!

Lol your posts are comedy gold.

Got this steel out again to have a better look this evening. Gotta say it's pretty nice even with the finish and paint job they went for. It's alot better finish wise than the hmv one. Granted it could have been better but it's not awful.

Shame they put extended cut on there, thought that was gonna be a sticker anyway

This film isn't worth watching if you paid me to watch it in 3D on a 10 foot screen.
You only asked 'cuz you wanted to say "10 foot screen" right?

No because most people watch on a small screen so there is going to be a huge difference on a larger screen as far as poor encoding with pixelation. Dont read into it too much. Oh well just wanted an opinion.

I'm only guessing but I'm thinking that most of the people here probably saw this in theatres...on bigger screens.
But of course if you have it, then yes, definitely check it out that way.

Are you saying that the 3D disc might look worse on a larger screen?

Well I enjoyed watching it in 3D on my 65" oled.. Some great usage of 3D effects even if the films story wasn't what the hype made it out to be.

I liked it but then I liked all DC & Marvel releases so far..
I'm not one to complain when I'm in a period where the technology has caught up to our imagination so as to produce what we now get to watch rather than read in comics

And Thanks to Hdzeta for the amazing boxsets they keep knocking out of the ballpark...:notworthy:

Cool. I should give it a watch then. Probably Watch MOS first and then work my way towards this one.

I apologize but I'm still confused by your post "...huge difference on a larger screen as far as poor encoding with pixelation."

I don't know anything about large screens or 3D but I'm always curious about viewing differences even though most of the time I end up confused by the explanations.

So were you asking because you're saying that it might look worse in 3D on a large 10' home screen compared to how it looks on a smaller TV screen?

Generally the bigger the screen the worse it will look if the transfer quality isn't up too scratch. On smaller screens it's not as easy to notice but as you see films in a bigger size screen the flaws become more noticeable.

I do understand that when you blow up an image like a photograph that it can become unclear but I didn't realize this would still be the case with some blu-ray movies. Is this just the case with some 3D movies on say 10 foot screens? Or are we talking about 2D and 4K movies as well?

Is this a rare problem? Or is it widespread? I mean I would hope that it is rare or it would be defeating the purpose of such large screens.

I would hope this wouldn't be the case on TV screens 65" up to whatever the largest TV screens are now.

It depends on the quality of the transfer. Some Blu-rays can look fantastic while others aren't as good. A bad Blu-ray can look bad on a 65" screen whereas it wouldn't be as noticeable on a smaller screen.
That is why 4K is now here, for bigger screens there will be less noticeable flaws. I don't have a 10 foot screen but I can imagine a bad blu-ray would not look good on there!
