I just emailed them (as instructed in an earlier post) with my proof of purchase, and delivery address info, but I didn't actually include a photo of the set itself.

I heard nothing for about 10 days, but they eventually replied saying "thank you for the proof of purchase, the replacement discs are on the way". The parcel arrived 2-3 days later via ParcelForce (I'm in the UK). I got no dispatch notification or tracking info, it just showed up.

Hope that helps.

Did you get a reply to acknowledge your email at first, or did they reply after some time with a response about sending you the replacements?
Hi there. FYI - I emailed them on 13th September, they replied to my email on 19th September and I received my replacement discs in the post yesterday. I sent pictures etc, they asked for a copy of my HMV receipt and responded that it would take up to 3 weeks for the replacements, but I got them sooner than expected. Hope that helps.

I got an automated response, but nothing further. However, it wasn't to the email address that Paul has provided but one I was given by Warner Bros. UK Shop Customer Support! I've now resent it to the email address Paul has provided so let's see if that works now! :)
It's taken just over a week, but I've received a response this morning advising me that the replacement discs should be with me in the next 2-3 weeks. I guess they're starting to receive a lot more emails about it now.

And the replacement discs have just arrived this morning, so much quicker than they said! :)

Did anyone else have any issues with Superman III from this set?

Hadn’t bothered even trying to watch III and IV up to this point (because, y’know, they’re s***e), but when swapping out the replacement discs and swapping them over with the dodgy ones I decided to whack it on and couldn’t get past the first 5 minutes. As soon as Richard Pryor spots the ‘earn big money’ ad on the matchbook the film becomes a stuttery, mute freeze-fest and is utterly unplayable up until the point he’s presenting Superman with the knockoff Kryptonite.

Only ever had this problem with the discs from this set and III (the one disc not part of the replacement program…naturally) is the worst of the lot.

That's just your disc. Almost all issues with glitching like that are isolated instances. It's not a widespread issue.

I got the standard edition set and had the discs replaced. They arrived last week. I noticed that, other than the Superman: The Movie disc, all of the discs had the same serial number as the disc they were replacing.

According to this reviewer, the discs are fixed though:

The US discs do have changed serial numbers for their replacement discs:

The Sound of Music is official for 4K, plus GI Jane, Superman fixed disc info, Watch the Skies & more!
Look for the tiny disc numbers on the edge of the printed disc label (the top artwork surface)...

  • Superman: The Movie — error 4K: 2000145633, fixed 4K: 2000189852
  • Superman II — error 4K: 2000180720, fixed 4K: 2000190426
  • Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut — error 4K: 2000180870, fixed 4K: 2000190427
  • Superman IV — error 4K: 2000180872, fixed 4K: 2000190428

I'm in the UK also - contacted the US with with my proof of purchase and delivery address info some months ago, but no reply - wjhat email address did you contact? Barry

[email protected]

This is the EU/UK contact email and the one I used. They replied about 10 days after my original email and the discs showed up a few days after that.
I sent an email to that address and then a follow up, with receipts and photographs attached.

Heard nothing, not even an automated acknowledgement. Not really much else one can do I guess but wait.
