They look good in all fairness. The sets is still priced £30 too much for my liking. I will wait for the inevitable sale and with 13k to get through I can't see it being that far off.

Agreed, but I managed to get it for £26 less from HMV anyway as the 20% friend's referral code worked on the pre-order (somewhat surprisingly), so I'm very happy about that! I also managed to get the latest Doctor Who blu-ray collection set for £10 less at the same time as well!

But, yes, if they find they have too many and need to drop the price, I would expect them to do some good deals by, say, taking £30 off and selling them at £99.99. I managed to pick up the Nolan Trilogy Ultimate Collector's Edition Steelbooks when they were offering a deal on them, which, when combined with the discount for ordering all three at the same time brought them down to £30.33 each instead of £39.99 which I felt was too much.

Yes, it is.

My set arrived safe and sound on Monday from HMV. They didn't leave it in the WB white box as others have stated Amazon have done. Instead, it was wrapped in brown paper, then placed in a much larger box, with more brown paper as padding in the rest of the box so it didn't move around. Although it was placed in one corner of the box rather than in the middle, which I would have thought would have been better. But it survived anyway, which was the main thing.

Same here, ordered 2 with the discount and both came intact from HMV thankfully - but NOT in the white protective boxes, just brown paper and a larger box.
