Taken 2 (Blu-ray SteelBook) [UK]

Word of caution from an UK HDN Member about HMV (thanks VRob98)

HMV now in administration said:
People should just be aware of 2 things:

1) If you receive a damaged or faulty copy from now on, you will not receive a replacement or refund

2) If they charge your card and are then unable to fulfil your order, you will not be refunded.

The way a company operates whilst under administration is quite different to how it operates normally, and certain consumer rights are suspended. If anything goes wrong you would have to apply to the administrator or claim against your credit card issuer.

I'd encourage everyone who has orders in with HMV to consider the above, as I'd hate to see anyone here lose their money in all of this.

Release Date: February 4th, 2013

I wish they hadn't bothered with a second Taken film as although I love the first one plus the Steel, the follow up I thought was awful and a total disappointment!!
I have made it my rule this coming New Year to only buy Steelbooks of films I like, and are of the limited Asian or Taiwan slipcover versions if possible!

Those are the ones I love the most anyway, plus those slips are stunning!!
:D

Well, I cracked and decided to get it.

Just wish now I'd picked up the first one when I had the chance. I would have if I hadn't watched it on TV around the time the steelbook came out. It was okay, but I certainly wouldn't spend more than £20 on it now even for the sake of completion.

Is he even on a train at any part of this movie? I don't recall, unless its not a train on the picture

This is the 'extended harder cut' version of the film, so maybe the scene used for the interior art is what's missing from the theatrical cut...?

No matter how sick HMV feels right now, I will keep my order

Thanks for this note - I've added it to the OP in case other UK members may be wondering the same thing.
