So they're telling you they'll give you $3 that you have to spend in their store for 2 damaged steelbooks? How bad is the damage? Are we talking OCD or actual huge dents?
Either way, that sounds really low. I'd go option 1 if at all.

Knowing @TheCollector86, it's probably microscopic :p If it's not, and I literally quote here :giggle: "ultra, mega, hyper, extreme, ultimate condition", it's no good :hilarious:

All jokes aside, hope you get it sorted buddy ;)

steelbook 1: has a 9cm long scratch on the front side
steelbook 2: has a damaged spine.

Sorry the hear about your troubles @TheCollector86

Are you sure this is a scratch? Happened to me with one of their releases: it looked like a bad scratch but turned out to be a plastic "thread" from the shrink wrap. It was so tightly wrap it wouldn't move. Once I unsealed the steelbook, all cleared up. Might not be an option for you as a sealed collector, but if that's the case with your steel, too, I guess Nova can't be blamed.

that was my first thought too, but I can move all scratches, but not this one. so, either the seal is super tight or it's a scratch.

Seems results are mixed on this one. And QC is not stellar either. Opened mine today to see the steel covered in paint chips from the opening side, top to bottom, dings to the full slip and scratches on the lenti, got me a trifecta for a change

Emailed Nova with pics and heard back minutes later with two options:

Option 1: nova points

Option 2: replacement

Guess which one I went for :p

No brainer. Make good use of those Nova points. Wait...What? ;)

Guys, @Aniv has asked me to get some feedback from you guys about the Taken lenti. Can you tell me if your copy looks as bad as mine - in particular the comically bad Eiffel Tower movement in the background. Basically I want to know if it's an isolated case or if they ALL look like this. Thanks amigos

Based on various posts in this thread, most do look like that, yes.

The Eiffel tower on mine is not well defined either, shame because the lenti has good depth but that area around the tower could be much better.

Does it jump about like that on yours as well? For the £60 ish it cost me I'm really disappointed with the overall result :(.
I can't remember if it actually jumps or not, not a big deal IMO, the lack of definition in and around the tower is more of a let down for me than if it jumps or not. I'll get back to you though regarding the jumping.

Passed on this originally, but now it's in the sale, I'm tempted to pick it up. Would owners recommend the FS or Lenti? I heard the Lenti is not great so leaning towards the FS.
