Seems like these are still available. Strongly considering getting a copy of this, still not sure which one but leaning towards lenti...
I, for one, am glad they're not doing the sequels. I like to pretend this is a standalone movie as well.

Received my lenti copy earlier. Great depth to it, I just wish the Eiffel tower was a little more defined.

Lenti slip pics courtesy nuikichiSB :-
(more used to seeing those infamous sparks/flying embers on steelbooks and maybe not too surprised they've spread like a rash onto slips)

Not forgetting the pretty back . . .

. . . and the v. smart steelbook itself:-

That photo does the edition no favours though. There's no focus.
Moon's and pbtour4il's photos are a better representation.

I don't go by reviews for films

You may see good reviews and not like a film and see bad reviews but like a film

The review that counts is you watching a film and making you own decision not what others think

If you go by film reviews to decide if you goto the cinema or if you purchase a Blu-ray release you might end up missing out on a film you would like and enjoy a lot

I have seen some films that get massive praise over the years but I then wondered have I purchased the wrong film :LOL:
Got mine today and got hit by an £11 customs charge - and THEN I find that the lenti is a piece of crap . I am not best pleased.

Can I send it back?! (n)

Yeah I got a customs charge too mate, first time in over 3 years. They have obviously looked online to find the price as Nova had put the title on the info

What?! :OMG: So the Lenti is sh!t then? (n) Looking at tommy's pic below, it doesn't appear to quite live up to The Grey Lenti which I personally love. Now THAT is one super crisp Lenti
Was however looking forward to having these two side by side

Yeah it's not great, just one of the reasons the whole release is a bit meh

got my lenti and 1/4 slip today
lenti isnt that good and no embossing elements on the back. the title on the 1/4 is embossed.

The lenti is fine. Maybe not top 10 for them but it's not **** either.

Sorry but you don't know what you're talking about. The lenti is easily the worst Nova one I've ever seen, and must be a genuine candidate for the worst lenti ever. Liam Neeson is completely flat, the background is a blurry mess and the Eiffel Tower slides comically along the background. The only bit they got right was the generic flames in the foreground...

In all seriousness, would we have any grounds to return a premium steelbook if the quality is bad enough? If the answer is no then that's fine, I won't throw my toys out the pram. It'd just be nice to know where we stand in situations like this.
