With there only being 150 of these I have no idea how they're still available. I suppose people aren't as familiar with this movie as I thought, or has it not got much of a fan base really ?

I think there are a few reasons why:

1. There is supposed to be a US release around the corner, using the same master (it's been cancelled once already though, so.....) which would have English friendly extras.
2. To be completely honest, I lost interest once I read that the actual digibook is not exclusive, only the art cards. I guess some people might feel the same way.
3. Many fans of this film already purchased the standard release.

I'm holding back myself for now. Want to see what the prices are like for the editions without the art cards and if the US release does happen.

I am tempted to cancel too if the standard non exclusive is cheaper.
Part of me hates the fact im spending this much on a release where I cant watch extras.

^ I agree regarding extras but unfortunately we don't get much of a choice on Asian films because the chances of English territory releases are slim to none.

Considering I love Korean film, and the simple fact stands that the vast majority of these films have never and will never see a US release - I really don't mind spending the $30 and change on these editions. If you think about it, the latest Hollywood garbage being released here in the US costs $25-$30 as well, and unless it's the occasional SB, they're a joke in terms of packaging. With these films, you know they're great...and even if they're released in a 1000 - 1500 print run, that's still pretty damn exclusive.

As for the lack of English subtitles on the extras - I can see it being an issue for people who enjoy watching the added features, but in my opinion, even that is negligible when keeping all of the above in consideration.

This is just me, though... :D

As for the price difference, the regular digi without Kimchi's photo cards is a few bucks more at the other trusted Korean retailers, K2DVD. The other version, with the regular amaray case + slipcover is costs even more at YesAsia.

Soooo...now you guys can rest at ease, since Kimchi is charging less for their exclusive versions. ;)

Yesasia have free shipping at the moment though which saves about $5 over the Kimchi version. I also used a $3 voucher so got it even cheaper! (standard edition)

I always use EMS shipping for Asian imports. Going by past experience, I should have the package somewhere between 3-5 days after release.

Added cost makes it too much for me.
Already paying more then I would for this. EEK!

You must have used EMS. I chose the cheapest shipping method so it will be up to a couple weeks, which I don't mind waiting for. Post pics when you get it!

Sadly I chose EMS. :(
Did originally order using K Packet but got put off by people saying it got held up for weeks.

Will do :)
