I keep getting "Input your country area code!" when trying to check out. It's rather frustrating since I'm putting "1" (US Area Code) there and it doesn't recognize it. Would really like to spend my money here!

It wouldnt let me put in the correct phone number so i just made one up and it was fine with that, :D

I'm also concerned about shipping methods. Is this K-Packet safe? It says if the item is lost in post no replacement will be issued. I realize I could still petition PayPal for a refund but I'd rather actually receiving my Steelbook.

The standard for international phone numbers is to put a "+" sign in front of the country code. +358 (Finland) worked for me, + and 1 should work for you. Can't type + and 1 adjacent to each other in a post here, as it comes out as +1 :hilarious:

I decided to cancel my order and get the 2D/3d amaray version for £15 from evilbay instead. I have a kid and he likes this film. I dont want to pay £35 or £40 for just one steel. At the end of the day my kid gonna break it :hilarious:

Awww your going to miss out.

But you could say the same of any steelbook. You shouldn't buy any steelbooks if your kids are just gonna break em. This is a super limited 3D/2D exclusive Disney steelbook. Seems the price is far less than what all the other (less loaded) Disney steels sell for. I nudge you about your comment here because I think it's odd to have this line of thinking in a steelbook thread and have several people "Thanks" it. What is the point of steelbook collecting in the first place. You can always just buy the amaray for any movie ever.

I get the amray for the watch pile, which the kids can raid, and the steels for my collection which they go nowhere near :)

I agree with konflick and cancelled for the exact same reason, don't see the point In buying a kids film for $45 and then keeping it sealed and hidden away. And then people respond with "just buy the amaray to watch" again why spend $45 for a film your never going to watch?

Collecting man, it's about collecting for some people.

I have three copies of this movie.

2D Combo pack
3D Combo pack
3D Combo pack with book

And now I'm getting this because one I love this movie, and two because it is finally in a G2 SB.

If you don't want it then don't buy it. Those of us that collect SB's are going to get this regardless. Some will open it and some will keep it sealed. Each person has their reasons for doing so.

+1

I used to look at peoples' collections and wonder why they would have 10 copies of the 2012 SteelBook but now I understand. Each one is different in it's own little way. While I try to only get SteelBooks with different art, the occasional numbered version may pop-up or different slip (I'm looking at you Taiwan Iron Man 3 ;)) and you feel like you need it. That's what collecting is about. Who cares why someone else collects something anyway...
