Love how this steel book looks, it was one of the first I got when I started to collect late this year

De Niro's performance is mesmerizing.

Great performances and script but I'll admit it is not an easy film to just kick back and watch. The pace is very slow for much of the flick and personally the score just grates on my freakin' nerves.

I agree the script is fantastic and fantastic acting its a classic and needs a few repeat viewings to appreciate how good the film is with each viewing
Depending on your mood each viewing gives you a different response
They don't make them like this anymore

The extras are just fantastic and a must to watch to appreciate the film and its development

I disagree on one area though IMO the film score is fantastic Bernard Herrmann score is a classic and I have this on original Vinyl and CD and extended CD score but I may be a bit biased as I collect lot of film scores and have a very big collection on vinyl and cd
Note Taxi Driver was his last film score he completed before his death

The Steelbook is one of the Best releases this year its a beauty and I'm very surprised it did not sell out when first released

I already had the Blu-ray of Taxi Driver and deluxe dvd release before the Steelbook was released
But the Steelbook was a beauty it was a easy decision to purchase again and must in your collection IMO

So its finally sold out I see ebay prices are starting already to rise
