i really hope the art changes. they got it right using the classic turtles in the manhole poster image, but all wrong with the earth. so close and yet so far. an artist who loves the film would never do this.

it says they will emboss the manhole but the manhole extends right to the edge of the frame, so its going to be a right mess.

Very nice movie one of my childhood favourites happy to hear of the release of steelbook but to impressed on the artwork ...

When I saw this art listed for the amaray release, my heart sank. I hoped the steel would be different though. I'm guessing the Earth is to tie-in with the new movie and it's alien story?

I haven't seen this since it first come out. I only went because my little cousin wanted to see it, but I did rather enjoy it. Is this movie still edited in the UK so you can't see the weapons?

I swear every movie I consider my one of my alltime favorites either gets no steelbook or the crappiest artwork ever. Why did they butcher the original poster so badly????

The artwork is awful. It looks like a twin planet is about to crash into earth. I don't remember that in the movie. lol

Very disappointing. I really don't know what some of these designers are thinking. I didn't buy Sin City because I thought it was horrible, and this isn't far off. It's a shame as they're two films I'd have liked to own with decent artwork.

in the context of this film, its totally irrelevant (and bizarre) to have the earth on the front cover. they barely even leave the sewers. so the claustrophobic new york streets in the original poster was fitting with the film.

we get it- they are leaving the sewers and going out into the world. we dont need a massive stock image of the earth pasted onto the cover.
