TENEBRAE [REMASTERED] BLU-RAY STEELBOOK

TERROR BEYOND BELIEF!

A notorious horror classic returns in all its depraved glory. This infamous video nasty updated the classic Giallo blueprint for the gorified 80s, courting controversy and drenching the viewer in crimson arterial spray.

A razor-wielding psycho is stalking the horror writer Peter Neal, in Rome to promote his latest work, Tenebre. But the author isn’t the obsessive killer’s only target, the beautiful women who surround him are doomed as one by one, they fall victim to the murderer’s slashing blade…

Will fiction and reality blur as fear and madness take hold? Watch in terror as by turns the cast fall victim to the sadistic imagination of Dario Argento, Italy’s master of horror.

Genuinely one of the nicest matte finish steels I own. Arrow make quality weighty steels with nice extra's

that's true! in fact arrow steels feel really heavy and high quality when in hand, have loads of extras and a nice booklet (which makes their editions even heavier), and the front artworks and matte finishes are outstanding. that's why i couldn't resist double-dipping on most of the steelbooks when they had the flash sale on for 9.99.

i have opened many arrow steels now, and if something is that nice, it's worth having it twice.

edit:
i was rather disappointed with the finish on the "tenebrae" though, it's still very nice and all, but not the best of arrow steelbooks.
"time bandits", "house of usher" and "lifeforce" look absolutely stunning.

Oh yeah House Of Usher has a lovely finish, as does The Beyond. Paid full price for Tenebrae but picked up The Beyond for £9.99 same as you. Can't really quibble at that price for the quality package.

the beyond for 9.99?
where? that was not in the flash sale!?

i picked up:
blowout
foxy brown
house of usher
time bandits
lifeforce
lady snowblood

i forgot to order king of new york though.

sorry for going off-topic with this in here. maybe we should create a "arrow video steelbook" thread, similar to the "disney collection" thread, with all the releases listed!

Lol yeah thread hijacked! OOPS! :D

The Beyond was £9.99 on Zavvi about a week before Christmas. Was really worried that with the post being bad at that time of year it would be damaged but arrived minty mint

well i got my first "beyond" with 10% off for 13,76, but had a tiny dent on the back under the sheet, claimed to zavvi and got another 20%. i also got my 2nd copy then for what i believe were 9.99. not sure...

back to topic: still waiting for a chance to get my second "tenebrae" for a good double-dip price. :)
