If the run number has gone up I'll be honest and say it does irritate me a little when this happens. When you purchase something after being told it's limited to a certain amount and then that number is raised it just doesn't sit right imo.

I suppose it's just something to expect in this hobby but hopefully that isn't the case here.

Kimchi doesn't restock. It's an order bug. Whenever someone checks how much copies are left and doesn't delete those 250 copies (as example) they are "reserved". Tony has to remove them by hand. Thats why the stock jumps up high and down.

Yes that is correct. The shopping cart keeps the number of items to track inventory movement until the cart is cleared by order completion or deleted by the user. For those checking quantity by adding a large number to the cart, please help Tony out by checking/ticking the box to the left side of the title IN THE CART and clicking the DELETE button to remove the reserve quantity from the system. Please do not leave any quantity in the cart that would prevent others from ordering by artificially creating an out of stock situation.

Yes, and that as well as the print run have been discussed several times already.

Best wishes,

Michael

If I order a couple of copies of these will I get stung by customs on its way in to the UK? Is there a value limit etc??

And should i ask them to mark the package as merchandise or a gift?!

The value threshold for UK import VAT is £15 so you're immediately over it with 1 copy.

If customs pick up on your parcel, you're looking at a charge of about £20-25 for 2 copies (which includes a Parcelforce handling fee of £13.50).

You can ask Kimchidvd to mark your package as a gift and declare it as low value ($25 USD) but be aware that there are some risks attached to that because it's illegal.

Another way to avoid customs is not to have it sent EMS, as far fewer regular airmail parcels are subject to inspection than EMS ones. If the parcel is lost however, you'll struggle to get any reimbursement or replacement from Kimchidvd.

There's no straightforward answer unfortunately. It depends a lot on how lucky you are.

:ohno: I ordered a copy of the first that came stock but I forgot to mark as gift.

I emailed Tony to see if he could change this, do you think this is possible?

thank you :ohno:

You need to have an account and log in before the cart can be populated. If you are already registered, then make sure your browser is not blocking pop-up windows.

don't work i also tried every browser...firefox,chrome ie and so on..already write to customer service but no answer yet...

edit:

this is all i can see when i click on my cart list, just a blank page:

Wow thats a pretty hefty charge, will they be sent seperately or together? Im still undecided whether to risk it or not, its a long way to travel and could potentially be quite pricey at £40 after customs and shipping charges

I am so ready for this. I'm really excited about all the new people doing their first bit of business with KimchiDVD, too. You guys will not be disappointed. ;)

Looks like I have an order in place for this even though i cant actually remember clicking checkout. Its flagged as payment type "cash"....ooops! :/

I managed to create a "cash" order when I used the browser's Back-button in the middle of creating an order to correct my typo in the delivery address. The order processing went into some sort of error after that, but the cash order remained in my account's order list.

It was gone this morning, whether timed out or removed manually, I don't know.

Looks like an order is created in the database early on (maybe already when you put an item into the cart?), and it stays there for a while, even if you don't complete checkout.
