If he does, i'm sure all this mindless, redundant BS about the print run has turned him away from even considering a second exclusive release.

Seriously, i just can't believe this is still going on. All the energy wasted on this ridiculous banter. How about taking that energy somewhere positive, and sending Tony an email to let him know how much you appreciate the fact that he's busting his ass on this release, and has been running such a wonderful Korean retailer which has provided A LOT of us with a steady flow of awesome imports? Maybe compliment him on the quality of the packages they ship out, while you're at it.

Several people, including moderators have mentioned that it'd be a good idea to get this thread back on track, and be done with the print run nonsense. Choi has confirmed the numbers on several occasions....everything said about it now is just a waste of peoples' time.

A lot of us are subscribed to this thread, and receive a notification each time there's a new post made. Please be a little more considerate of that fact, and try to actually contribute to this thread, and the release itself.

Folks, no more print run post or discussion from hereon. All deviations will be deleted.
Dear 8 pounds 6 ounces new born baby Jesus, thank you.

Now, i will say that i'm glad i caught this release as early as i did, but being able to get two more was great. As i mentioned before, i'll be giving one of these to a friends' son for a graduation present. He's been on my case about either a Terminator 1 release, or a Terminator 2 release...so this works out great.

Now, in terms of "Terminator Collections" - which release would work best, to display alongside this one? The debossed / embossed UK release, or a Korean / Japanese one for the sake of slipcover uniformity?

What do you guys think?

I actually think 1.0 to the left of this and 2.0 to the right of this, having the three T2`s with full body slips would look bad ass!!!

Sorry... got a little ahead of my self there... The 1.0 of course has no full slip but anyways it would look awesome with those 3...

Can I just get your patience in wasting a little more thread on saying that in my collecting days I haven`t felt the way I feel now about a steel since BB and TDK JP and KR 1. printing... If this release is half as good as it looks in the pics I am going to be like a 5 year old with my favorite toy again... I just had to get that out of my system. Man am I excited = )

I really dont want to join this discussion, but as a participant in this thread i just want to say that this is not just about you. There are a lot of people on this thread that can be misunderstood as very negative and perhaps even a bit disrespectful to the ones who have been busting their humps on updating us since page one. I just dont want Choi to stop doing what he`s doing, and I dont want guys like Tony to feel like what he`s doing is not appreciated. Of course Choi is talking to Tony since Choi is reading and writing in this thread. Im not sure how they will react to a lot of the stuff that is being written in this thread. Maybe i am overreacting but that at least is my opinion. I understand if you feel that the print run has not been as promised, but what good will it do to keep this discussion going on for a hundred more pages. It will be what it will be and thats that. We cant change it. If you dont like it... Just dont buy it... I hope my opinion does not offend you. I just wanted to share my point of view with you.

What has been going on in this thread, with the constant whining about the print run, is the exact reason why I am basically quitting collecting steels. We have people who work their asses off to satisfy us, yet the majority of us whinge and whine like overly spoiled brats. It's getting to the point where I rarely even visit the steelbook section now, because it just isn't worth it to see all the petty arguments and ungrateful posters. The studios and retailers don't have to release these steelbooks, but we seem to take it as a right to get what we want from them, and the same goes for members like Choi, he doesn't have to go above and beyond to help make this a kick ass release for us, but he chose to do so and he deserves thanks and praise for that, not constant questioning of the information he is giving us.

Anyway, Choi thank you very much for your hard work on this release. I for one can not wait to get this, if it were 4000 or 10000 I wouldn't care, the fact is this is going to be a fantastic release and at only 1500 copies it's also great value for money for what will become a great collector's item.

does any1 have experience with cancelations on that site ? how long does it take until they refund you ?

.. needed to change the payment method and wanted to reorder as soon as they've refunded me..

You are quitting just because of a few people whining? Don't let them affect you, mate. ;) There will always be people like that. I always say live and let live and just enjoy the hobby.

Maybe it would be wise to lock the thread for a couple of days? I think everyone needs to cool off.

I don't think the thread needs to be locked. If everyone remains respectful of each other and talks about the Steelbook instead of print runs it should be fine. This is obviously a very popular steelbook as the amount of views show so perhaps the Steelbook itself should get more attention and not just constant repeated chat about print runs.

To add to Sigill's post-this community has supported Steelbook releases since the beginning. And our members are very vocal, engaged, and passionate about the hobby. You are always welcomed to report posts, contact a Mod, or simply use the 'ignore' a member if you don't wish to see their posts.

Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion, but lets remember that mutual respect is still needed, or unnecessary arguments brew, escalate and end up, most times, being regretted.

I hope we can all agree that movies and entertainment are meant to be a source of excitement and joy-don't let anyone sour that for you. We all know people buy Steelbooks for all kinds of reasons, which then evokes all levels of passion, agreement, disagreement and...drama-and obviously with 1000's of members, that is ok, and to be expected.

This hobby is highly speculative as well-not since 'Sucker Punch G1' have I seen such turmoil in a thread. As a collector who has been around for years, the best little piece of advice I can give you is to put it all in perspective. No one forces anyone to choose to buy anything-in the end it is always up to you, and all you can base your purchases on is all the info you see and research.

Our community has always created resources to chat about, and assess 'value', and 'meaning' to the individual collector-no matter on what side of the spectrum you fall. We are not interested in creating an environment of hostility and disrespect here-you are free to visit other forums for that kind of combat. Posts with personal attacks, threats and constant berating will be removed because the negativity gets old and is unwelcomed here...especially not in a forum created to bring movie and entertainment fans together. Thanks in advance for taking a step back before engaging in an ongoing argument. If you need help or are being harassed by another member, please get in touch.

In the meantime, once again, thank you Choi, Tony, and everyone else that has worked behind the scenes to make this particular edition possible-those that value uniqueness for 'whatever' reason and motive, will appreciate it. :scat: I look forward to receiving my own-I don't own the V2 T2 with black slip-I completely bypassed it at the time it was $60, and that was simply a choice, as it didn't matter to me to own it. Personally, I am completely uninterested to spend $100's for 1 Steelbook (though I have 340+ in my own collection), but I know plenty of others who will, and who do, and that is their choice. Please, everyone...remember why we are all here:)

No, not really. I'm not quitting per se, but I'm certainly cutting back. Collecting steels just isn't as much fun for me anymore.

Anyway, back on topic; I can't wait to receive this one :)
