yeah i wanted to place an order yesterday evening but it was already sold out at JSDVD but i think this will come back in stock again

I received mine yesterday. While I think this Thai release is one of the best out there, but this steel is underwhelming despite not expecting much. I think Sony dropped the ball on this. The black border is terrible. Yeah, the embossing is nice, but overall a dull steel.

My ASM2 from JSDVD has a couple marks under the eye but I've seen the same marks on this steelbook from other countries/retailers. I wonder if those are the scratches that are being referred to. When I reached out to JSDVD they told me that was part of the print.
I had a similar response from them when I received a few copies of IM3 with a tiny scratch on the underside, that it was all of them like it...yet I've not seen any others with the scratch.
...my point is that they might be talking rubbish just to shut you up.
Yeah, I got that feeling that they were trying to shut me up and act like nothing is there.
sorry for the ones who got theirs with scratches, mine was flawless...I was told by my contact in Taiwan that this sold really fast all shops are already sold out and there won't be another pressing. I was very surprised that it sold that quick, steelbook and Slip cover are absolutely beautiful, slipcover very nice spine Chinese writing as usual, covers whole spine not just part and steelbook surprised me it's very nice...even though I didn't like the movie that much.
