Yes, I always order the diffrence in cheap DVD's to make them ship in a box. They send it UPS too.

I ordered a couple online and they came in a small box with only 2 air bubbles for protection. 2 had small Dents on the bottom, not due to shipping, they were sent out like that. I just went to the store and did an exchange. All good

Oh man I don't know why I missed mentioning this (perhaps I was all excited about this US release) - Best Buy has an unadvertised special I think. The cashiers at both Best Buy stores I was at this morning asked if I wanted the Spider-man T-shirt with my Spider-man blu-rays. It's free with your Blu-ray purchase (well technically it is $0.01). I guess again YMMV but worth a try if you see that T-shirt on the shelf.

I just didn't know about the "deal"....I saw they had these shirts for The Avengers as well. They are those type of shirts that they compress into a SUPER SMALL Blu-Ray case shaped package. Once you open those bad boys you better have an iron handy, because they are wrinkled all to hell!
I WANT MY FREE WRINKLED SHIRT!!! guess who's going back tomorrow?

The first cashier told me several customers before told her manager that the T-shirts were part of the promotion and when the SKU did not come up, he simply told her to over-ride as Marvel merchandise promotion. The second cashier basically said they had a lot of the T-shirts and better to give them away with the Blu-rays than throw them in the dumpster.

What? You don't like cookies Personally this has been the most fun day steelbook wise I have had in a long time. Back when the Disney steelbooks came out, there was no HDN around (for me at least). Now we are here to stay baby!!! US steelbooks FTW!

It goes to show how much some store managers know about generating business and retaining customers.

Just got home from work to find my steelie in a jiffy bag. Key word here 'Amazing' that it was unblemished in any way, perfectly pristine. As I look upon it I'm like This is an 'Amazing' steelbook.

Looks like Best Buy planned to sell a whole lot of these. Looking on their website, stores aren't even listing the item as being "sold out" and instead are being listed as "ship to store_pick up in 3-5 days"

Guess there's a whole lot more of these steels in the warehouse

Quick update from my local BBY: I don't know how limited the print is on these but this morning I was 4th person to grab my copies (2 for me and 1 for each of the 3 in front of me) not to mention two guys end up behind me with their copies. This steelbook is freaking sweet! Still haven't seen the film yet, hopefully tomorrow!
