how the heck can it get released so soon with it still being in theatres?
I concur it's only just been released in cinemas here! Maybe they expect it to have a short run in cinemas and not do an Avengers! Although I reckon it will do 800 million easy (worldwide)!
I myself am not really interested about this movie at all. Raimi's first two Spider-Mans were good even though he ****ed up the 3rd one.
Am not interested about this, because the whole movie rebooting-system is just milking-your-money-kinda thing. Especially for this movie, since they rebooted it so quickly.
But I haven't seen the movie, so I can't say if it's bad or not, just saying that I am not interested about it.

the reboot is excellent, deeper, more emotional: great movie. i can't wait for this steel book
I've asked HMV on their Facebook page whether they'll be getting the/ an Exclusive steelbook for this. Their reply:
"We'll let you know as soon as anything is confirmed"
Will wait for the UK to release this, just wait and see
Well so far it looks like UK won't be getting this. Play.com exclusive is only a slipcover with some artcards. Both amazon and hmv have only 3D and 2D amaray versions... but hopefully it can still change...
Certainly looks that way at the moment. I'm amazed. I thought this was a dead cert to get a Steelbook in the UK.
the price is ridiculously high on this. We need just a steelbook release somewhere other then France.
I would be surprised if they didn't try to release it in more places. The film was fairly successful and popular among fans-lets hope for a variety of choices for the SB community

yeah thats what Im hoping. Ideally a home country release would be the best but I don't mind a cheaper steel only release in DE, UK or USA. This version with the bust is just too much coin if your someone who doesn't really want the extra's ilke me and is just looking for the steel only. France is the only one with a steel only and Im sorry but I don't trust FR releases for anything (G1's, foreign titles, text covered banners, etc, although here and there they get it right).
