The only thing is, will it have a printed back? I'm on the fence about this one in hopes that another 3D edition releases someplace else without the statue.

It shouldn't do with it been a sony release, but who knows?

I don't think so. I mean every other Amazing Spider-man steelbook seems to have the same preview picture, so it looks more like a world-wide release.

Man don't want to fall into those bundled LE collectible box sets all over again, money/space is an issue but somehow I'm liking this more and more by the day and even though I have already decided & arranged to get the bare-bone steelbook version from MM I have put an order in for this for now, now whether I keep it or not that'll be the question, will see what happens in couple of months

Will play in 3D and 2D. It is a 2disc set. Both are blu rays so probably dedicated 3d disc and a seperate 2d disc

I think both 2D and 3D versions will be on one disc (typical of Sony) compromising bit rates.

Way too expensive. The comic book can be had for $2.99 at walmart and the figure can be had cheap as well.
