Hyper inflation going to be in full effect in the next couple months. Money printing machines are gonna be having a major workout.

Just look at all the things around you that are sky rocketing in price. Go shopping at the grocery store and check out some of the things. Heck ice cream has doubled in price in the last 4 years. Price is going up while they shink the container to a more "friendly fun size". :hilarious:

People will collect even more durring this time. It is what brings people happiness in times of crisis. Ive seen some big money buying steels lately. I hope they tell their friends about me. LOL.

that's right chip, screw investing in banks!

the real money is in steelbooks! a true future investment :oohyeah:

until we get another re-release ;p

The whole thing is presentation. Art is expensive. Put one of these next to a French one and this one blows it out of the water.

believe me,this is all good for the steelbook format.
when you say presentation plays a big part,i agree and this was pointed out when i was in school taking quite a few art classes lol
however...in most cases, its the actual art( steelbook ) that decides what happens to the value and if you remove(block out) the steelbook away from the slipcover,it becomes totally worthless because the art is simply fantastic!fortunately, the actual steelbook design will be readily available worldwide.it might not sell as high as the asian releases BUT i guarantee you that if you have back to back auctions within a few minutes of an asian and european release with buyers being fully aware that they have the exact same design, the majority will not be willing to pay double for an asian release.you can show auctions that end ridiculously high for an asian release but those are the very few minority and and probably the same buyers lol.if you look at the highest value sellers of all time, you will notice that the asian releases do not top that list.lets see...iron man(CA),sucker punch(US)
well the point is,there's a lot on top of that list that arent asian.it simply boils down to rarity.very simple and this is where the bestbuy release i think in the long run will be more desired.you always have to remember also that "the grass is greener on the other side"
for us americans here, this might seem like an easy get but for others overseas, this is highly sought after and will continue to be so especially if the sequels are in the works.
for me its all about rarity whether it be an asian,european,u.s.,etc
i'm all for it and like i said, its all good for the steelbook format.whatever gets the value up,i'm a happy camper in the end :scat:

Got mine from Yesasia today. This looks even better in the flesh once you see the finish on it. The slip looks awesome too.

For those who ordered late like I did through yesasia.com I sent them an email regarding stock. They replied with this:

I received my order from books.com last week, but both copies had dents on them. I'm trying to return them or get replacements, but can't seem to understand the translation from the email they sent me. If anyone can help out, please PM.

The more I see this the more I wan it! I am very happy with my BBY version but something about this one sticks out! I've seen some floating around that include a comic...? Not sure how rare those are....

My JSDVD order came with the comics. One of my yesasia orders came with a couple wallets with the bluray logo on it.
