This has got partial refund written all over it! You can't say it's going to be a gloss finish and then not do it! I'm thinking £3 off for EVERYONE?

It doesn't look as nearly as I expected from the description on their website. I was at least hoping for spot gloss on the airplane. But the artwork looks washy and low-res. I'm really disappointed.

What's more important: what will happen with future releases like Cinderella or Bambi? Are they really going to be glossy? I mean Zavvi no even mentioned that on their webiste...

Partial refund? They should be taken to court. If you ordered a sirloin steak and got a Big Mac, would you ask for a partial refund? Clearly lying to customers.

I'm not even a Zavvi basher. I stick up for them most of time (I was even prepared to let it slip that Sainsburys were selling their 'exclusive' Despicable Me 2 steelbook).

Its more like ordering a steak and getting the wrong sauce on top. Getting a big mac instead of a sirloin would be more like the equivalent of them sending you the DVD steelbook release instead.

As I stated, it looks like the silver in the letters are the spot gloss part.

I don't think the Disney ones due out will be washed out as far as I can see and in my opinion the Disney steels released yes weren't glossy, but the coulis and level and detail of the artwork are brilliant and beautiful

The right side (which is lit up in the first photo) looks more along the lines of what I was expecting for color saturation based on the mockup.

It is an issue as what was advertised was a blatant lie, this is another cheap matte steel. Silver lettering doesn't = spot gloss!

To the people who are going to put the US/CA disc, think twice as it has a low bit rate VC-1 encode and lossy audio (yet another lab experiment project by Warner).

Go for the German disc which is the best in terms of PQ, SQ and extras.

Just got home and seen mine has arrived. The front of it is pretty pants the only decent thing is the title. Think I'll send this back as I'm not impressed and have the film on blu ray already.

Lots of people complaining and asking for discounts is far more effective. You dont see people complaining to Plain Archive and asking for discounts on the wrestler do you?

Why? Because nobody feels cheated.

Its about principle.
