I went about 11am east and they only had 5 left OUT ... They were inside the plastic security cases and 1 had dents. Im glad I got mine and it will go along with the other 3 under my tree :D Might tear it open and give it a spin tho. My target did not have any of the other Bourne movies out.

I was able to pick up a few too...unfortunately they had them in the auto-load display stand and it was tearing the wrap since they were jammed in there. The local store had about 15 of them. Didn't check the other stores. I didn't see any chips or dents, but i haven't opened it yet. I did notice a loose disc in my Ultimatum, so i exchanged it. Not too thrilled with the quality on this series... but at least the first three were half the price. Seems like the ones made in Mexico have quality issues.

I just got mine. Thought I picked a mint one....until i opened it and discovered a series of paint chips on the front under the top strip of the jcard. Its like they put the jcard there to specifically hide them wth. I may exchange it but most likely for another chipped up one.

I just opened mine because I was worried but thankfully no issues. My only complaint is the card was very thin PAPER WTF???? Also fingerprints were ALL over the top of the disc

This was a blind for me, after watching the movie it wasn't a bad movie. The first three are better but I tried to go in with an open mind considering all the criticism it got. As a stand alone movie separate from the trilogy I would recommend this.

Got my two copies this morning! Both in perfect condition! Hey was there a Target discount or something floating around in any of your stores? Lol someone asked if I used it but I had no clue what they were talking about!

Overly confident that stock would remain on shelves for days I wait until after work to stop by Target and pick up a copy, only to find empty shelves where they should be when I arrive. I did manage to track down one last copy toward the front of the store, but it's not perfect, so I ask a guy to scan it and let me know if any of the other stores in the area happen to have any left... he looks up from his little stock thingamabob with a shocked expression and replies with, "well, it says we've got 56 in the back".

Moral of the story: There appear to be plenty of these to go around. :)

Same SKU as the regular amaray version... so I doubt there were 56 of the steel in the back.

My store had them but they're pressed in on the top with their security cases. The cases have 5 notches that push on the steelbook and they all looked damaged. Shame...

I went to Target in the morning and didn't see any on the shelf. Plenty of the regular release though. I asked one of the electronics employees and he surprisingly knew exactly what I was talking about. He even mentioned it was a Steelbook. He went to the back and came out with a whole case of them. I'm glad I was able to get one before they jammed them into the security cases.

I'd normally be inclined to agree with you, as that's the logical conclusion, but the UPC's are different, and that's what he scanned. I doubt his machine rolled in counts for an entirely different UPC. If so, then that is one stupid little machine they're using. :)

Just came back from my local Target, guess I'm not the only one pissed off at the poor QC for these steels.

Bourne Identity, had 2 huge permanent dents on the backside (only saw after removing back cover), and several deep scratches, was the only copy my target had. :(

Bourne Supremacy had multiple small painted chipped away areas on the back (again only saw after removing back cover)

Bourne Ultimatum, same as Supremacy, all the damage was under the back cover.

Bourne Legacy, several very long scratches on back, a few could be overlooked, but 4 of them, the paint was gone, and 1 very noticeable indentation I couldn't fix (under back cover AGAIN).

All of the steels were also inside those stupid protective cases they have there.

Guess I'll have to head back to Target for 3 swaps & hope they get more Bourne Identity's in, in the future.

The same sku(DPCI in Target lingo) can be linked to an infinite # of UPC codes. I know this as fact. So if it showed 56, then its 56 of that DPCI and not that particular UPC code.

Got this coming from a buddy in the US and if the quality is as bad as everybody is saying then straight in the trash it goes!
At least I no that the European steels of this film are far superior in quality so I think that's more than likely going to be the one for me to get plus it matches the Bourne trilogy steel from Play!!!

:D

I think this one looks a little better than the other three. The resolution of his face looks more clear than on the others.
I agree! The image on the front cover looks higher res / less grainy than the previous three Bournes. That, plus the fact that this isn't a flipper disc makes this my favorite one of the four (speaking only on the Steelbook cases, not on the movies themselves.)

When I picked this up on release day there were only 4 copies on the shelf, but I was told by a worker that supposedly they're expecting to get more in. Hopefully they do, because by the time I left they were all gone (I haven't been back there yet to see if this was true or not,)
