Its not necessarily how great the film is that determines its "worthiness" as a steelbook. Look at some grails eg John Rambo, Iron Man FS. Terminator Salvation FS etc. Catch my drift? It is about collectable "worth".:naughty::naughty:

you are crazy if you think there are grails cuz of the movie titles.

farewell my concubine, le grand bleu, flammen & citronen, moulin rouge, romeo & juliet etc. catch my drift?

i honestly dont know what the fuss is about, i like the film and i will buy the steelbook if i like the art...in the end no one is obligated to buy it and we have more options for the ones we like other stuff and not just block busters....in fact we need more variety...also, i'm glad they just not go for another release of the same titles over n over...

I enjoy many war movies. I have seen this one and thought it was okay but a little unbelievable.

While I think it is great that Zavvi continues to give us more choices this is another I will pass on. I'll use the savings instead for Frozen.

As others have said it's a very good film - perhaps not for everyone but what is - tastes vary, and not something you would watch very often.

Again as others have also said it's a bloody weird choice as a steelbook, it's a somewhat niche film and never will sell out as a steelbook, it'll be in the steelbook bargain bin before it's released probably.

Not a great fan of the film do not like ending i think its a one watch film.

Definitely, I saw this in the cinema and wouldn't plan on seeing it again.
Not that its a bad film, just depressing.

This instantly strikes me as a release that Zavvi will heavily discount once released.

Not sure why all the hate for this, its an incredible film and book. Extremely thought provoking...and yes its depressing its about the holocaust. :dunno:

To be fair i dont think its the movie, i think its the fact they chose this instead of many others. I dont think i have ever seen a "i want this movie in steelbook form" for this film. Just a weird one. Im into all the ww2 holocaust stuff and i went to auschwitz in april. Just a weird choice for steelbook lol
