Zavvi are really scraping the bottom of the barrel now. Haven't they learnt anything from the last nine months or so?

I totally agree. This could be a disaster for Zavvi and this poor choice of title makes this a prime candidate for being one of the nails in the coffin. This title should not be released as a steelbook it's just not worthy and definitely not necessary. My gut feeling is they will get stuck with these, do that too often and your bankrupt and hey oh no steelbooks. :oohyeah::oohyeah:

I rented this when it came out, its a one watch film for me and therefore I won't be buying any release for this...so many great movies zavvi could have chosen. My advice to zavvi is to cancel whatever contract they signed and think of something else that has a better chance of selling. If there is a lot of interest for this title from SB collectors then thats great, and I'll shut up lol.I'm happy for people who want this released in SB but I think the numbers will be low and zavvi will be out of pocket:dunno:

can understand if people not interested in that kind of drama/war movie but its a good film and there is nothing wrong with a bit variety of title choices. you can hate zavvi for many reasons but def not for there picks of catalogue titles.

exactly, why does it have to be a thriller/horror to be a steelbook, a bit of variety for steelbook collectors who like a good drama is a good thing.

What zavvi needs to do is go to play.com price point...they have made steelbook collecting into a disaster within a course of few months. Due to their tactics, even some good steels dont sell out anymore because most people avoid zavvi preorders.

This is very true, I think it's definitely a weird choice for a Steelbook. I like the movie, but it's an odd choice. However, can't complain about having choices, this is meant in a general sense of things not just for Zavvi's sake.

Seeing this weird choice, i may hope to see unexpected titles like Land Of The lost, Severance or other little title movies turned into steelbooks :D

Agreed, I love how people who haven't even seen this film decide it "isn't worthy" of a steelbook. What does 'not worthy' mean exactly, this is a 7.7 on the IMDB, does it have to be an 8 or a 9 to be worthy?

It's a fair point, but I just think they could have gone with Schindler's List rather than such a relatively obscure film.

Its not necessarily how great the film is that determines its "worthiness" as a steelbook. Look at some grails eg John Rambo, Iron Man FS. Terminator Salvation FS etc. Catch my drift? It is about collectable "worth".:naughty::naughty:
