I really like the current artwork. The poster art probably wouldn't be proportional on a Steelbook. Although it would be a nice touch to include the original poster.

Our SteelBook of The Burning has now sold out via the Arrow Store! You can still pre-order this title from Amazon, HMV and Zavvi

If you are keen to get hold of this title we would suggest putting in an order in soon to avoid disappointment.

As soon as retailers run out of stock they ordered no more will be available

With a reported 4,000 print run in the U.K. for this divvied up between 4 retailers with 1,000 each (?) I'm happy to wait a while for a price reduction and, yes, I realise that Arrow has sold all of theirs and that it's the #1 best selling steelbook over at Amazon.
(I also feel that despite the reported 2,500 pieces for DRILLER KILLER there's room for a price reduction in the future for that one as well . . .).
Great-looking steelbook though

I recall Arrow announcing before release that 'The Voices' Steelbook was selling like "hot cakes". It has since lasted numerous price reductions.

It's mostly fear appeal at play for the consumer to get their orders in ASAP which will of course result in most, if not all copies selling out. I've pre-ordered this and it's no secret that the artwork is gorgeous , but I'm considering waiting for it to hit £9.99. But I don't want to miss out either. Decisions...

It's depends on each retailer on remaining stock selling some sell out quickly some don't
Arrow Films get orders from each retailer some order a small amount some order large amount
Arrow then let customers know when a release it's OOP with them as the supplier as in no more stock is available to order from Arrow Films

A retailer may still have unsold stock but once they sell what they have no more is available to re order from Arrow

Some steelbooks and limited editions each retailer sells out quickly or has stock remaining for a while
You can get lucky sometimes a retailer has lot of stock left or you end up missing out if you wait for a price drop

The Burning steelbook though is a lot more popular than the voices and is a stronger seller so it will sell out with most retailers in coming months so waiting for a price drop is risky with this release

I agree, even if it does stick around for a while I think I can justify paying £16.19 for an eagerly awaited title like this. Also the risk of this selling out outweigh the probable savings from a price reduction which may not even happen.
