nice, hopefully it's reasonable also. i've wanted this for a while, just didn't want to pay $40+ for that japanese amaray.

Let's hope the transfer is good. The JPN one is awesome. The UK one, by comparison, is only 1080i and not as good...IMO.

Though my German is a bit rusty ( I am 1/2 German, but I don't speak it every day), here is roughly what it says in English (no translator used). Please jump in, if your every-day language is German, and I've missed something key.

9/9 Eurovideo has shared with blu-raydisc.de that Alex Poryas' "The Crow" will find its way to Blu-Ray Disc in December. The studio has shared that it will be the FSK 18 version. Collectors can get excited about a Steelbook. Whether or not the FSK18 version will also be contained in the Amaray version has not been confirmed. The production has not yet begun.

Vor over 3 years, the Alex Proyas thriller has been available in the UK as an import. Whether or not the same master will be used for the new version is not known.

However, Wolfgang Petersen's "The Boot" (Germany, 1981) was extensively restored, so that the film could be developed. Based on that previous strategy by Eurovideo, we can assume that the (The Crow) disc will have German and English language options in DTS-MA 5.1 (also present on UK disc).

We'll keep you posted on new developments"

That it awesome! I will be watching for a group buy, hopefully, someone can send across the pond to us poor saps in the good 'ol U.S. of A.!!!!

If it's not a store exclusive, but available from amazon.de, I'm definitely going to try and get some of these. :scat:

2 different covers 2 different sellers??? i appreciate the bluray-disc.de version slightly a little more. I hope they have the same features. So far bluray-disc.de stats DTS-HD Master in english.

This is going to be a very special Steelbook. One of the guys from EuroVideo visited the Forum at bluray-disc.de the past week and there was a voting between 2 Covers. The current pic on the 1 Post is the result of that voting.

Furthermore, many excellent suggestions were made from several users there like minor changes to the Spine, adjusting the location of logos and of course ditching the DVD Logo ;)

The final product will sort of be a joint effort between Eurovideo and the forum Users.

An outstanding effort on Eurovideos part for listening to the collectors!! :scat:
