Perhaps a bit more holo on the rear of this one than I'd like, but it is WeET, so I was expecting it lol it looks good, bettter than the rear of BB anyway. Just waiting on the steel shots now!

I know they're 4th up to bat :naughty: with this trilogy, but I can't say that I'm particularly impressed with the set from that video.

The lentis look great, as do the lenti rears, even if BB has gone way OTT with the holofoil for my taste, but that's about it tbh.

All the fullslips just look like cookiecutter full gloss, no crazy WeET texturing going on there. Similar story with the steels...

I'm genuinely shocked WeET didn't go nuts embossing the steels like they usually do. Just a debossed title, which makes their title placement choices there even more questionable.

Honeycomb texturing on the OC is an odd choice, too, as is what looks like too much bare metal on TDK steel. I only went for TDK SL, which I'll stick with, but I'm glad I stopped there.

I got TDKR lenti for myself after seeing the initial shots of the transition and got BB lenti as a gift for someone else and am happy with those. Don't love the BB transition and there holofoil usage on the rear might be a tad much but that's the recipient's favourite promo image of what is one of his favourite movies so I think he'll be happy.

Same here. The lenti set looks phenomenal to my eyes and love the use of holofoil on the backs but the fullslips and steelbooks are a bit underwelming. I was expecting alot more from weet after seeing their spiderman OC. Maybe its just the video and they will look better in hand. But the fullslips and steelbooks doesnt scream spectaculair to me, the lenti's does though.

Also they could have put a bit more effort in the OC box itself. When i saw that honeycumb pattern i first thought maybe they are going to make that see through. Perhaps made from metal so that you could see the editions through the OC box. Maybe i'm just a bit to creative here, but that would be such an unique idea for an OC

Anyway glad to get this OC either way. First time owning premiums for these movies

Yeah, it's a mixed bag, and opportunity. WeET are known for their excellent fullslips and heavily embossed steels, and while neither are poor here, they're below par of what they can do.

Maybe it's studio and/or H&Co interference(?), as tbh I thought very similar about MoS, but at least they actually tried it on there, even if the steel ended up being a total sh!tshow.

The lentis all look great (disregarding the consistency issue with no TDKR bane), and they've really put the work in on the rears there too, but that's about the only things I'll compliment.

Minimal effort comes to mind. Especialy when you know what they could have achieved. Honestly was expecting to be blown away by the fullslips. Well that didnt happen. Whats with the simple cookiecutter design?:meh:

Still hope these are way better when in hand then in the video. We'll see. At least the lenti set is worth it. And the box might be alot better with the lenticular magnet attached

Nobody has. But at least Blufans started to do so. It’s only right considering the amount of money these cost and the unique size of them. Who wouldn’t want to protect such an expensive item?
100% agree, but it's only blufans (and manta with their OCs) who do, so it's not surprising that WeET don't.

So their 2 major competitors are including protectors with their 1Click box sets and it’s surprising WeEt is not? They need to jump on board.
Neither are nova or zeta, though, so it's not like they HAVE to. Thing is with these guys, none of them are really "competing" with one another. The market is evidently big enough for them all to sell out anyway. A OC protector won't change that either.

WeETs OCs are also really inconsistently sized, so I can see why they don't do them. Manta and BF are at least all the same size, so it's easier for them to mass produce for each release.
