as stated before, this design worldwide seems to have sided more with quantity than quality.such a shame for a subdued artwork in my opinion coming from the best movie i've seen for 2012! the audio track to boot is the best head and shoulders above any other release this year i might add.it is intense from the opening scene and doesn't let up all the way through.

the USA print run # alone is almost mind boggling.

out of all the "metal cases" released in the U.S.,i would say that this release along with the Target Iron Man II Metalpak would be in the top 2 of all time.i guess with all the paint chips with been hearing about...well,can you blame them, they probably just ran out of paint lol

I can imagine there being an incomprehensible amount being printed as TDKR is such a a big deal but I'm still surprised to see that the German and HMV ones are pretty much deleted online. Add to that Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong being sold out that's huge numbers being sold.

TDKR will probably sell thorough in about 6 months...... just in time for a re-release!

No paint chips for me either as just got mine.

Have to say that this is my favourite release so far of TDKR. I know some don't like the slip because it's plain, but I love it.

I agree. For me it is the best TDKR slip and makes up for the disappointment on the Korean slip (just about :p)

I received a note from Royal Mail telling I owe over £6 custom charges + £13.50 clearance fee :hilarious:!

Got this ordered from JSDVD. Seriously, £13.50 just to tell me I owe them over £6. Can you imagine if you owe £1 and it still be the same fee!

It's the only one with a slip, so easy winner. :hilarious:

I've got Dark Knight coming from KimChi, so may have to end up buying the Korean version as already have BB. Still haven't decided as yet.

How much??? EEK!

I take it this has gone up?

Was charged £11 for a package that was declared as $19 + $5 for shipping. Surely they did a mistake and I am in the process of writing to them to demanding refund of the customs fee + cost of sending the letter + taking print outs. I will fight until the end like Abu Qatada.EEK!

Well I dont have the package here, it is held at Parcel Force until I pay this. So I am going to have to pay this, see the value, and dispute this is if I can. They might had declared this as something like $30 and forgot to put down 'gift'.

I paid my customs comprising of:
£6.02 - Import VAT
£13.50 - Parcel Force Clearance fee
Total: £19.52

I ordered two TDKR TW.

From looking at the declaration below on the package, it shows:
NT$ 1700

NT means New Taiwan Dollar.

Currency converter for $1700 TWD (I cannot find NT) is £36.28. The threshold we can have for gift in the UK is £40.

So it appears that I have been nabbed £20 from customs as according to the calculations it is below £40 and marked as 'Gift'.

The question can I really be bothered to write a letter to the UK Border Agency and challenge to be refunded my charges?
