The Dark Knight Rises (Blu-ray SteelBook) [UK]

The last TDKR they released still hasn't sold out so there's not much chance that this is sold out.

I think that's mainly down to BB and TDKR not having Steelbooks to compliment it, that's why i skipped out buying it myself... I refused to buy TDKR Steelbook because the others hadn't be released, and I didn't want to source them from another country either... So I've just waited and hoped that all of them would get released one day, and so they have!

i have none of the batman's but 18 quid a pop for a re release seems fair to strong

feel for all you batman collectors :(

I usually get most of these rereleases when they are new releases so I have learned to appreciate times like this when I have the chance to save some cash ;)

Warner please stop! I hope these are not white versions cause then there's a chance that the new Batman releases will match. I hate re-releases but I think it's something we have come to expect from Warner. I did predict a studio would fill June 3rd:
They probably just took our comments on board that were forwarded by Wreck ;)

I'd rather they moved the Fox wave back, but I guess it's great that they are moving anything at all. No doubt another studio will come in and announce a huge wave to fill the convenient void left by these titles (probably Warner).

Strange that they have gone for a re-release, a matching set of the Nolan trilogy would have been cool.
Already the hmv version, so not interested in this.

Oh dear Warner. Couldn't even be bothered to produce a Premium Collection design to match the first two. They really are the laziest studio when it comes to title and artwork selection. All the other studios are trying hard to cater for collectors and then we have Warner flogging the same crap over and over. No effort, no care, no exclusive titles. I won't bother ordering any of this wave. They'll only and up at £9.99 after Warner have printed 100s of thousands of copies around world.

Bear in mind that the UK version has a completely different finish to the US/ CAN version. It is VASTLY Superior with a finish not unlike the recent Paramount Steelbooks. That lovely smooth lustre finish, not that roughy thin lacquer finish that was on the stateside versions.
I know because I had both and immediately got rid of my US version.
