I too love this steelbook but my beef is with the releases themselves. they are just so nonuniform its ridiculous.

Batman Begins has color, TDK is B&W and TDKR doesn't match either of them. At this point I am sticking with my NA BB steels.

A Director's cut would actually be the opposite of that. Most of the time the Director's cut is the cut that the director wanted, but then the studios get their hands on it and cut out things they think will make the movie "better".

TDKR is an awesome movie from a super hyper ambitious director. I would prefer a director's cut with a different ending. When I say ending it is just the final 3~4 minutes. Everything else can stay untouched. I am sure many would understand what I mean.

Definitely could be a marketing ploy in this case, I just wanted both sides out there for people to decide.
