Got this yesterday. Really nice packaging and it came in mint condition, which was a relief because I was worried that the Steel will somehow scratch each other. But thankfully whoever designed the box was genius enough to allow for some nice breathing room between items (including the book) so sliding in and out items from the box was easy and non-painful.

I don't think Amazon's packaging is particularly great for this one, given the price. Mine arrived in a beefed up card mailer and all the corners were scuffed in transit. Fortunately the case that holds the steels is quite sturdy, with all the corners protected by paper backing, so the damage was superficial. It still should have been sent in a box though.

Oh, I didn't mean Amazon's packaging. I meant the box itself.

No, their packaging was lame and I knew they wouldn't have the means to ship a box that large properly. Thankfully I ordered that with 2 other Steelbooks which got shipped inside individual boxes inside a large box. The DK box was just laid there against the two small boxes. So they provided the kind of padding required for the Dark Knight box. And there were some paper crumples around the other side of the DK box so that sort of padded the edges. The paper backing did end up being a lifesafer though and I didn't get any dented edges on the DK box.

I have a feeling that it will be restocked seeing what happened with the Avengers back then...
But even so, it'll probably still go OOS given the rate it's been selling. Would've gotten this set if I didn't already own the the individual releases.

If you missed it, get it from Ebay, i got it for £50 along with some protective steelbook bags as a few of my steelbooks have developed a few minor marks

I hope this is true, my card bounced so they cancelled my order, and I have been super busy with school so I did not bother ordering it again as I thought they had over 1000 in stock still (or did all those sell out over the last week? ).

Those 1000 you speak of did indeed already sell out! These puppies have been selling at a rate of about 200 a day for a week or so.

Still I wouldn't doubt AMZ DE re-stocking these again. Its what they do. If you the read the thread a little back you will see peeps were talking about how the stock level got down to I think was around 500 or so and then magically it went back up to 1000. Amazingly from that 1000 copies it still got sold out as peeps snatched it all up!
