please use this thread as a RESOURCE to ask your fellow members about problems you've had with a reseller or questions about e-bay.

do NOT use this thread to attack or refute other members. if you an e-bay dispute with a member here, perhaps it's best to approach a trading mod before posting? we don't police e-bay, but maybe we can give you a tip or two.

if members ignore these suggestions, then the thread might be locked for a couple of weeks.

hey folks,

as a reminder what myself (and other mods) have continued to mention via private message, e-mail and other areas. we do NOT police other trading marketplaces like ebay, youtube, amazon and the rest.

there is ONLY a certain amount of information at our disposal and we do not have the resources in these other locations as we do on this forum - things that we can look at and evaluate.

having said that, there are trading rules on this forum that have been instituted for your own protection for trading transactions that happen HERE.

this includes the pending / active sales threads, the requirement of feedback posted for any new traders, our support ticketing system, the active investigations held by trading moderators and many other things we do not discuss openly.

we have long held that problems occurring on these other forums and marketplaces should be taken the appropriate authorities on THOSE websites.

many of you are established traders here on this forum and you should know all about the guidelines that are stickied in this section - including having new traders send first, getting tracking from the other party and proof of shipment, and what other precautions can be taken to protect your trading safety.

trading via ebay and their messaging system is against their stated policy and should not occur - and there are reasons why they have created that policy. you don't have protection of paypal or their listing system as a buyer or seller.

having said that, if there is trouble with an ebay seller or buyer, you should go to their website and report it there. if you are not aware of this process, follow the below link for more information.

so folks can feel free to chat about a seller or buyer that they are having problems with, but I can tell you right now - there will not be a "witch hunt" by moderators or staff based on one person's account of the problems or trouble they are having - and we limit the action taken for or against members here to transactions that occurred on this forum.

Hmm very interesting. I guess he's trying new techniques in luring in the big bucks. Instead of T2 V2 and FS IM, he's using Clash of the Titans and The Green Hornet as bait lol. Maybe he's got some ancient mystical Chinese technique that I'm not aware of lol. Quite funny when you think about it.

what i think is that he really sells these items to raise his feedback score and after all the people think "yes hes a good guy with lots of feedback" he starts selling the expensive stuff again and the scamming begins again

For you ebay sellers out there: You better all block "theknightrises2012". He bids and can't afford to pay. This is the 2nd time he f***ed me over. Last time he was begging and I unblocked him and now he did it again...

Just sold a highly-valued collector's item and got this message from the winner:

"Hey I hate do do this but this bid was a mistake last week I don't even remember bidding on it I apologize I don't know how to go about it from here again I am sorry"

*Bigdelboy09* is another one for you Ninjas to add on the block list. I recently purchased a steelbook and asked him to kindly pack it well to avoid damage in transit.

I received it in a plastic mailing bag with a dent. When I contacted him his reply was you should be grateful I sent it recorded instead of standard delivery... Lol! And then he followed up with:

"No refunds and No returns"

Left him negative and fighting on PayPal.

preciouslittlemoments person has a big history of non-paying. Crazy thing is he has all positive feedback .. and when you read his feedback ... many of these positives are actually negative comments stating how this person never pays.

You should see his bid retraction history. He cancels bids with me all the time. Its like he picks and choses which ones to pay for.

I told hime "why say 100% mint" when the item is Clearly not ??

Ninja's please be warned if you are bidding on this sellers site. I have noticed he has re-listed the dented steelbook I have returned to him (Pulp Fiction). He has been left negative by me but still trying his luck. Waiting for PayPal to reimburse me.

My man needs to go to specsavers and learn how to pack a steelbook. I feel sorry for the winning bidder I hope they leave him another negative coz that's what he deserves and hopefully Paypal catch on his scamming ways.

I got a person from France whose ebay id is punkjam77 and they said they got a dented up I.M.2 from me. I am willing to bet they are trying to do a switcheroo. They opened the claim on paypal instead of ebay. Hmmmm.

Reason: Paypal will ask the buyer to return it back to buyer at their own expense and seller has to refund upon receiving it. Of course, buyer can leave negative feedback in eBay which has to be dealt with.

To be mentioned that PayPal allows buyers to return items that have been opened as well. This is why many of these scammers open cases via Paypal as opposed to eBay.

punkjam asks a lot of questions about inside of steels etc. ..... i dont think this person is much of a sealed collector. fyi tho I see nothing wrong wtih that .... could be it just arrived damaged chip? or do u like bomb proof pack?
