A) Simply put, no. To find out why, ensure you read the following spoiler:
please use this thread as a RESOURCE to ask your fellow members about problems you've had with a reseller or questions about e-bay.

do NOT use this thread to attack or refute other members. if you an e-bay dispute with a member here, perhaps it's best to approach a trading mod before posting? we don't police e-bay, but maybe we can give you a tip or two.

if members ignore these suggestions, then the thread might be locked for a couple of weeks.

hey folks,

as a reminder what myself (and other mods) have continued to mention via private message, e-mail and other areas. we do NOT police other trading marketplaces like ebay, youtube, amazon and the rest.

there is ONLY a certain amount of information at our disposal and we do not have the resources in these other locations as we do on this forum - things that we can look at and evaluate.

having said that, there are trading rules on this forum that have been instituted for your own protection for trading transactions that happen HERE.

this includes the pending / active sales threads, the requirement of feedback posted for any new traders, our support ticketing system, the active investigations held by trading moderators and many other things we do not discuss openly.

we have long held that problems occurring on these other forums and marketplaces should be taken the appropriate authorities on THOSE websites.

many of you are established traders here on this forum and you should know all about the guidelines that are stickied in this section - including having new traders send first, getting tracking from the other party and proof of shipment, and what other precautions can be taken to protect your trading safety.

trading via ebay and their messaging system is against their stated policy and should not occur - and there are reasons why they have created that policy. you don't have protection of paypal or their listing system as a buyer or seller.

having said that, if there is trouble with an ebay seller or buyer, you should go to their website and report it there. if you are not aware of this process, follow the below link for more information.

so folks can feel free to chat about a seller or buyer that they are having problems with, but I can tell you right now - there will not be a "witch hunt" by moderators or staff based on one person's account of the problems or trouble they are having - and we limit the action taken for or against members here to transactions that occurred on this forum.

Does stating no return acceptable helps at all ? I seen seller place that as well.
Once seller states no return accepted, isn't that end if story?
 
Boy, glad I just stumbled onto this thread.


I've had dealings with Couscous94120 and can tell you if frenchpredators is the same person, don't go anywhere near him!! Totally ripped me off, but luckily PayPal saw sense and I got my money back :)


I almost bid on a couple of things frenchpredators had listed recently, but the zero feedback scared me off. Then he relisted/added some stuff, but had some feedback, which made me think twice, but luckily I still resisted bidding.



preciouslittlemoments person has a big history of non-paying. Crazy thing is he has all positive feedback .. and when you read his feedback ... many of these positives are actually negative comments stating how this person never pays.



This explains a lot! I had this guy win an auction from me then ask me to wait 2 or 3 weeks for payment! No hurry, he said. I had no idea he was a true scammer, but I insisted that he either be ready, willing and able to pay within 5 days AT MOST, or we needed to cancel. Luckily, I was able to get the transaction cancelled without further issue.

I don't get what a game like this is meant to do? Block real bidders from winning? Prevent people from truly selling their items on Ebay??
 
I got one for you guys. I got a idiot that goes by the ebay name of punkjam77 that filed a claim against me on paypal. I sent them a Iron Man 2 U.K. in mint condition. They claim it had dents and bumps on the back. They want me to pay shipping costs and I got it back today and it was exactly the same as when I sent it. It is the glu holding the back card in place just like I suspected. What a moron. :angry:

I have a new ebay customer that needs to go on the block list for me anyway.

The ebay ID is: ezhilan2012 from INDIA.:angry:

This guy made an offer on one of my steelbooks recently which i accepted.
He then sends me a cheeky message after i accept that he can only pay after 3 weeks.

3 weeks later he contacts me about shipping cost requesting me to offer him some discount or send it standard Airmail.

I explained that i dont make any money from postage as the price is set by Royal Mail also went on to explain that its for his benefit as well as mine that it gets sent tracked.

He goes on to talking nonsense about customs going to open his package if i send it tracked etc etc.

He insists that i send it standard Airmail which i made it clear that i wouldn't.

He then offers me to leave me positive feedback if i send it standard mail.

I then opened a non payment case against him so he that if he doesn't pay me it gets recorded on his profile. He pays me 3 days later so the case got closed.

Soon as i received his payment i dispatched his steelbook.

He contacts me after i updated the tracking number why i sent it without emailing him. He is moaning customs will open it because i declared its full price and not £10 which he wanted me to put on the custom slip.

I ignore his PM.

Today he PM's me that he received the steelbook and there is a dent underneath the data card:angry::angry::angry:


I contacted him to send me pictures....

I've dealt with him a couple of times and no problems... BUT he also asked me to allow me him to pay later and lower custom price and tried to persuade me to send it via NON tracked which I refused. Apart from that I was lucky not to get him in a awkward mood unlike you GB :D

I always make sure all imperfections are mentioned and pictured in my listings for the OCD customers:thumbs:


What i cant stand is lying that steelbook was thoroughly checked and packed for International shipping. You should know how i pack my steelbooks;)

i told u cleary the details about the manufacturing defect in the bottom of front cover below the sknet cover and it was also visible at the bottom surface that the item isnt good for sale .the parcel was not damaged and the item was sealed when i received.when we pay 42 gbp for a rare item anyone deserves to get a neat one.if the steel is damaged inside u r the responsible one for not sending a good one or listing a unworthy one.in ur case,it can be seen only when opened yet u cleverly say the refund is only for sealed.i dont want ur money.already wasted a lot of time,money with u .even u get 1000 positive feedbacks,one can send a below par item like a you and say that ur a genuine seller.what difference will it make when i post the pic or return it.u can easily tell that i did the damage on purpose according to ur gut feeling and if i had shipped the item that the item was greatly damaged in my shipping ""

Ebay sellers beware of this buyer kenrwz He bought a100% mint sealed U.K psycho from me 5 days ago. Once the item arrived he sent me a few pics of a opened bashed to hell psycho claiming it was the one I sent him. He demanded £10 cashback of course I told him that this scam would not work on me so he opened a paypal dispute needless to say I can now kiss that money goodbye as paypal always protects the buyer. I sent photo evidence of my mint sealed steelbook (i always photograph them for idiots who try to pull fast ones) But he has told paypal that I own loads of these psychos and have just taken a photo of a new one. At the moment its being reviewed by paypal so just a heads up to block this conman from your items
