I was in the HMV store in Belfast and the guy told me loads of people were in the next day trying in vain they could order one from the physical store as they failed on-line so something very funny going on with this release. Both versions seem to go quickly.

Still managed to get the other edition. Got used to the outer box and steelbook is still the iconic shot.

Also don’t forget about the fact that it will be shipped via Amazon, so half of the released copies will get damaged in transit as it’s almost 100% chance it won’t be packaged properly.

I expect some sort of protective packaging by Warner tbh. Paramount did the same for the Top Gun 2-Film set and the Godfather 4K premium set.

Hmmm, you mean that Godfather set with prints inside? I received it damaged from Amazon US, packed with no protection in an oversized box. Good thing it wasn’t sold out, so i got a replacement. That replacement was shipped in the same manner, but somehow arrived without damage.
I am in US though. Literally every single thing i order from Amazon.co.uk arrives damaged, so I’m kinda mentally prepared for that already. I’m trying to avoid British amazon as much as I possibly can, but those exclusives keep popping out

Yeah that one. I ordered mine from the UK and it came in a protective box from paramount with actual buffer material, just as the Top Gun 1+2 box. Maybe they did this differently for various territories.

Idk I'm ordering movies from amazon for years now and maybe two three movies got here damaged? And not even smashed or anything, just scratched. Only one was completely wrecked but it was the outer plastic on old Batman blu-ray collection, replaced it easily. Maybe I was just too lucky so far.
