Cheers for the tag matey  I'll be passing on these just because I don't rate 2 & 3, and not really a fan of that Steelbook, E2 looks good though. But I have to agree with others here, it is a bit of a cheeky cash grab just to get rid of their stock, and to have each slip say either one or 2.
I can't blame them really, they are in business to make money after all, but at the same time, if they concentrated on their previously announced WEA Steels, they'll probably make even more, instead of just clearing their warehouse to make room.
And I've actually been inside Filmarena, and their back room isn't massive, so I don't blame them to make some room!

sorry, so to clarify, E1 & E2 BOTH come with Expendables 1 & 2 films, correct?
Yes I am confused here as well , are they separate films or both double packs with 1&2 films ?

The slips are different but the steelbook inside Edition 1 and the steelbook inside Edition 2 are one and the same.

FA have done some amazing work over the past couple of years (a bit less in the past year, and that's when prices started to creep up rapidly along with an increased number of releases).

But this... is completely embarassing, a shameless cash grab.:(

I mean look at those full slips, it's amateur job— the way the production still of Schartznegger is included on the front of the second slip, my God, and the lettering of the title of the first film... there's nothing good in this.

They have a boner for Schwarzenegger and they want to clear their warehouse, but asking 899 CZK for this (+ group buy fees so 1017 CZK each without shipping) is just inappropriate. 599 CZK was the most they could ask for given the job they're doing on the slips, and the steelbooks they're including.

I love many FA releases, I've signed up for FAC editions for which I already owned the steelbooks, and for some films I don't like that much because of the bang-up job they do, like Karel & Martin with the GBs.

But this represents everything wrong with the way FA is going— these are so bad, a bunch on expendable releases!

Okay? So they've been doing FAC editions for 23 months, not 24 months (the "couple of years" I was refering to), that doesn't make much of a difference.

They had a truly great first year, and this second one is filled with attempts to empty their warehouse and unjustified price hikes, like the proposterous price given to these Expendables releases.

I couldn't have written it better. First year, FAC was something exclusive and special...with many interesting titles, customer-friendly prices and behaviour. Then Mr. Cikánek had probably some kind of inception that they should make as much money as they can at whatever cost. So now we have a company which is releasing every **** in (wannabe) exlusive edition, releasing so many titles every month that the exclusivity is long gone and company that is also banning people for different opinion, taking away their still collector's numbers and witchhunting for selling their editions on eBay etc. And this actual edition is yet another huge **** up. A regular steelbook that is not selling well, so lets take it, put into some box and sell for twice the usual price. Same case as Last Stand, Ted and many others. People still buying it and I can't understand why. Big ironic applause.
