There is no decision. I want the steelbook for my 87 North collection. But I ordered this with the expectation of an extended cut. So I will be complaining out of my arse if it doesn't have one. I mean mock ups are frequently wrong, and the US one has the extended cut. What possible reason is there for the UK to not get the extended cut. The only time it ever happens is when the BBFC has issues with rats apparently.
Great! Hopefully they send you (and others) the amaray to compensate then (if need be), as that clearly has the extended!
I mean it's a total mess. Having just checked, the running time for both 4k and steelbook is listed as 126 mins on zavvi and hmv. Zavvi's mock up photo doesn't show extended. HMVs does. But the running time for the extended is 146 mins. What a **** show. How hard is it to get something like this right in 2024...
I agree it is a mess. HMV doesn't have a mock up for the discs. I believe they did previously. It has been removed.
I made my original order from Amazon Germany then cancelled to order with Amazon UK, guess I'm reversing that again!
I've generally found Amazon Germany to be the best of the European branches. Italy I've had packages go missing or get severely delayed, have been lucky to not get dents but packaging does always seem to be light. France has generally been fine but I had one get heavily delayed before. Germany is the one I've ordered with the most and I've always had good experiences. Most recent steelbooks / special editions I've gotten were Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Requiem For A Dream mediabook (this wasn't for me but the person that wanted it said it was perfect), Iron Claw mediabook, and Oppenheimer steelbook and all were perfect.
They all go through the Amazon system so I'm not sure why I've had such a different experience between Italy and Germany though, maybe some of it is down to the warehouses and stock picking.
There's only the 1 country confirmed without the extended cut thus far, and that's Italy. There isn't an Italian dub track for the extended cut, and it's distributed by an Italian label over there, so that'll be why it isn't available. UK TBC, so hold your horses.
Because it's a fun flick with real stunt work, something that's incredibly rare outside of a mission impossible film
So you two volunteered to be the guinea pig testers of playing around, and finding out what's in the box...
I mean someone had to right? Lol. But honestly like I said before. I need the steelbook for the 87 north collection. It would haunt me if I didn't get it. I very almost passed on that Atomic Blonde too but meh.
Currently holding my Horses. I am betting it will be the same as the US one. We will see I guess.
Haha! Yea. I can't wait to get the first copy from the top of HMVs shipping box, each one comes with razor blade slices all down the side.
I went zavvi which I am doing less and less lately cos their delivery times have been bad. But shockingly it's out for delivery. Well not really. Let's see how long til it actually leave the warehouse.
Apparently this does have the extended cut, per the attached image somone posted on fb, which they received from zavvi. Odd there's no bbfc logos on the front though.
