I’ve received things from zavvi many times same day I get the dispatch notice. Someone won’t have clicked the dispatched box on their system or something.
I've had that before and I'm hoping it's the case. **** I have on a few occasions received items before getting the dispatch notification. But I am being somewhat skeptical about it.

And here I am still no dispatch :notworthy:
Might genuinely be worth shooting them a message. I know they get messy but it’s weird it’s not dispatched

I feel like they just charged everyone or most people the same day and took 4 days to get majority out.

Yeah I was trying to hold off contacting them cos I know damn well the generic reply I'll get back. Oh it can take so many days blah blah working to get your order out. But I think it's getting worth contacting them.

I wonder why, that sulks. I'm starting to think mine hasn't actually gone out and as you said it's just been allocated a tracking number.
Have you checked the tracking on the RM website? You can usually see whether it's just a tracking number that's been issued as the status will be "We're expecting it", then under the details the date and time that shows against "Sender has despatched item" is really the date and time that a tracking number was generated. I have an item being sent by another retailer where that's currently the status. There will then be a separate event once RM has received it and scanned it in to their system. It will show as "Item Received", usually at one of their parcel hubs, and the status will change to "We've got it". I have another item from yet another different retailer that has just reached that status (and there were a few days between the two events i.e. 'despatch' by the retailer and receipt by RM).

Finally an update. Due for delivery tomorrow

You hope! I note that on the tracking, RM also add the caveat: "If a delivery timeframe is shown, please be aware this is our delivery aim, not a guarantee.". And I can see why, as I've often had items arrive a day or two (or sometimes even more) after the date expected.

Still saying they're expecting it.

OK. So that just means that a tracking number has been provided and it's on its way to RM, so may or may not have actually been despatched just yet. Other possibility is that it is with RM but they've yet to scan it in to their system. Either way, I would expect it to be at least two days from the point they scan it in. BTW, the tracked 48-hour service actually means expected delivery within two working days AFTER the date RM receive it in to their system i.e. if they receive it on a Monday, Tuesday is day zero, Wednesday is day 1 and delivery is expected by Thursday (day 2) at the latest. I've asked/challenged them about that before as in my mind that's really a 72-hour service!

Mine will defo be here tomorrow. Already at my local hub

In my experience, that's still no guarantee at all. I've had mine held at the local delivery office for days simply because they're short of posties to do all the rounds. Yesterday was the first time I not only received any mail for over a week, it was the first time that a postie had even been spotted on our route for over a week!

My collector's edition has arrived. No real complaints with this one, happy with it.

Only minor gripes are internal steel art is pants and the 4K disc art looks real ugly. I guess the slip title could've been moved up a hair too, but that's about it.

Lovely finish and colours to both the steel and slip. The image placement is slightly different on both to the mockups, and it actually looks better for it.
