The front is awesome but the back is a let down. This goes onto the list of ones I'll grab when they are £10 or less.

I see hmv have learnt from their past mistakes and have priced them fairly lol, IMO there not worth any more than a tenner, shows how great play was, when u could buy a great movie such as Iron man for a tenner but yet Daredevil is 15 quid lol

Well prices unfortunantly tend to go up more often than down. And as steelbooks have become more popular and there is market for them even at £15 the price isn't going to come down anytime soon.

But what's it really like in other countries, as it appears as if every other release in the UK gets the steelbook treatment these days.

Is it just me or does the matte finish on these fox steel seem high quality? Nice change of pace from the powdery matte. Just goes to show that not all matte is bad. Awesome wave

A lot of prices have come down as well as up. Just look at withnail and I for an example. At one point this proper steelbook was just 5.99

Steelbooks such as close encounters also at crazy prices.

A lot of ES steelbooks were also chopped in price for a quick quid.

Steelbooks might be popular right now but the wiser amongst us know that pre ordering from one particular company is not cost effective. In fact the more we realise this amongst the community the more prices Are actually likely to fall as retailers struggle for ways and ideas on how to shift this merchandise. There will of course be those that beg to differ on the strength of "well you don't know which ones will sell out". Well this is true but a bit of common savvy will lead you in the direction of bargain after bargain if you like me can let patience prevail.

So your statement of the price isn't going to come down soon is absolute cods wallop as far as I and my friendly gathering here are concerned just look at the likes of some of the reissues, for god sake man think about it. The prices might go up if there was a steelbook strike something that's about it. Generally prices are tumbling and that is due to flooding of the market with 2 bob steels to new collectors and various other entities jumping or trying to jump on the bandwagon not to mention any names. You catch my drift.

Well Amazon took my payment so it should be shipping soon. It'll probably be here around the 11th then. Can't wait to get it in. :)
