Just looked at the disc and didn't realise this had a directors cut aswell which is 15 minutes longer. Never seen that version look forward to seeing it.

could of been embossed !!! that would of made my day, but its just a lazy print.

Got my copy as well today, only had the dispatch email yesterday which is a bit odd, certainly not complaining mind, i like the Steel myself and better than no Steel at all.

how can you tell it is the directors cut from just looking at the disc?

It does indeed , wasn't on the dvd release

how can you tell it is the directors cut from just looking at the disc?

I can tell its the directors cut cause when I had the disc in the player! It asked go to theatrical or directors cut. And you get an introduction by Peter Jackson on the directors aswell informing you it's 15 minutes longer

This one is a little disappointing, I don't know why they didn't have some embossing on it as most of the other Universal steelbooks have. It looks a little dull but at least it's a great movie!

I have it. I'll check it when I get home for you. I can tell you it has BOTH Theatrical AND directors cuts of the movie.

Fairly decent release. They could have done more with the case but happy that they included the DC. Fun movie too, so worth the few bucks =)
