Exactly! I didnt expect this to OOP so fast again! I think some stock just had legs and went walking...like a pendulum, ebay prices are going to head upwards again, after a short respite...

It was released on pre-order and sold out before release date.

After release date there was a batch in stock with 100 and gone in one day.

Then later down the line there are over 300 available that appeared from somewhere

Who knows, maybe there be a fourth batch hidden somewhere soon!

I actually think this might have to do with some of these being defective (paint chips). I ordered another copy on this last round. It had paint chips on both the bottom and top of the SB. They sent a replacement and it had the same thing. I had heard this has been a problem with these from the beginning. They had 100+ last week, and at a limit of 1 per account I do not see this selling out already. My theory is they take it down to investigate because these are costing them too much $$ and then eventually putting them back up with whatever they have left in-stock. I see Amazon.com do this from time to time, but they actually put something up saying they are investigating the product.

just my theory. At least I have 1 mint copy.

do they offer a full replacement for a defective copy plus bear your return shipping costs?
or did they offer you a certain amount to keep the item just like what amazon.de/uk like to do?

they let me keep the original copy and sent me a replacement for free
